Thank you homestar for a lovely overnight stay for our first family holiday  the family room was comfortable and clean with great presentation, the owner was polite and helpful we would definitely stay again.

Booked to stay for 2 nights this weekend,  but had a phone call on Saturday morning from my girlfriend's neighbour to say there was a ( thankfully minor) problem at her house. As a result we had to head back a day early. 
Our room (301) was on the 2nd floor  and was bigger than the one we had stayed in on previous visits.  The bed could have been more comfortable but the room overall was fine. 
There was a decent selection on offer for breakfast  including cooked,  and very nice it was too. 
They do offer off road parking,  but the access is via a narrow driveway so we parked on the road outside.  You are only about 10 minutes level walk from the town centre and seafront so the accommodation is well situated , tucked away on a quiet road. 

Truncated weekend break. 

We'd never been here before and it's safe too say we will definitely come here again!!!
The room was cosy and very clean, the guy (don't know his name) gave us a lovely welcome and showed us around. 
I can't say much more than it was perfect and I definitely recommend staying here!!!

Perfect ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very welcoming host, helped us out with parking when my van was too big to fit in the rear car park, the room was lovely and clean and well set out, with a microwave and fridge, the shower was very powerful, the breakfast had lots of choices and was cooked well. Would stop here again for sure

Great place to stay

Great little hotel, in a grat location, a couple minutes walk from Skegness sea front. Was greeted well on arrival and shown to our room.  The key fob for the front door wasn't explained on check in so had to ask the owner once we left for the first evening. 
The family room is a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a double and single in the en suite room and a single in the second room there is also a second toilet. Both bedrooms had flat screen tvs with free view. 
We weren't offered breakfast on arrival but we wasn't really bothered about that.
Rooms were very clean and tidy but I would say a makeover would make this hotel even better. 
The only downside was the WiFi never seemed to work were we were on the top floor, so they could do with investing in a couple WiFi boosters.
Overall enjoyed our stay at the home star and would definitely return.

Great location 

Our welcome was a little vague, we were told that there would be no breakfast as it would of been just for the 4 of us but we did get a refund, a little disappointed as this was something that we wanted when looking for a hotel, the rooms were very dated and needed some tlc however was very clean and lovely comfortable beds. This hotel is ok if ur just looking for a somewhere to get your head down.

Overnight stay

The welcome was a little luke warm and awkward. Room was acceptable and bed comfortable, had a good nights sleep. Room could do with a bit of an update... bit dated.  Shared shower was a bit dated but otherwise serviceable.

Nice room shame about cleanliness toilet had stains on door and a poop in toilet on arrival and a brown stain on toilet seat wasn't offered breakfast so went to maccies your loss wouldn't bother again

Hi all, we've never been there although we  wanted to but unfortunately we had to cancel and had to pay the full price. We've called them and in less than one minute the booking fee was waived. This says a lot about the people that are managing that hotel. If they are willing to do all that for a stranger I can only imagine what they would do for a guest.

Amazing people

This modest hotel nevertheless has lots going for it. the room was a little small but comfortable and well equipped - tea/coffee making facilities (with plenty of milk pots), hairdryer, TV, en suite shower room (with shower gel), and dimmable reading lights you could actually read by! There was a bar and lounge but we didn't use these - nor the stairlift to the first floor! However, we did use the private garden (laid to decking) at the back - very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was very good - made freshly to order and served by a lovely cheerful lady - and Annie reduced the cost when we said we just wanted cereal and toast which was unexpected and a nice touch. I took a bottle of soy milk with me for them to keep in their fridge but I never had to ask for it as there was always a jug ready on the table - good customer service. The hotel was set in a quiet street within easy walking distance of the town/amusements/beach and restaurants and we had a very pleasant stay. Two minus points (which did not spoil our holiday) - parking is very tight and must be difficult when the hotel is busy, also we found the towels to be a bit small and thin for our preference but on the other hand the toilet paper was better quality than many places we've stayed (e.g. Holiday Inn). We booked this fairly last minute but unlike many bargains this did not disappoint. Thank you.
