Stayed for 3 nights last week having travelled from Norfolk, and what a quite wonderful stay it was. We hired both rooms and how spacious and tastefully furnished they were. Very comfortable bed, and excellent en-suite. Situated in the middle of Sherborne, but room was very quiet at night. 
Breakfast was also of the highest standard and plentiful with many options. David was a charming host and could not do enough for us. He even rode his bike to the station on the day we left as my partner had left her personal radio behind in the bathroom. Not many people would have done that. 
Would definitely stay again and would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Exceptional Quality.

Five family members stayed at this excellent B&B in the charming town of Sherborne for four nights. Our hosts David and Karen were friendly and fixed us lovely delicious (and large!) breakfasts each morning. Our son-in-law particularly liked the "Full English" breakfast. The large rooms were tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. This property was just a short couple of blocks walk from the train station, Sherborne Abbey, a supermarket, and a number of good restaurants, yet was quiet at night. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

Great base to explore the Sherborne region

Stayed here for one night last weekend in order to attend a family party. Very friendly welcome by Karen and shown to our room. We stayed in the Red room which was very well appointed and had a lovely en-suite bathroom. Although the Red room is at the front of the property there was no noise; a comfortable overnight stay was followed by a delicious full English breakfast (far more than we normally eat) which our hosts had tailored to our needs (husband doesn't like smoked bacon & I need gluten free!) Didn't need to eat again until tea time! Thank you Thorn bank for an enjoyable stay. Would recommend!

Family 60th Party

I stayed at Thorn Bank for two nights for a business trip and it was lovely. I felt very welcome and the room was nice and warm. Big, comfy bed and a very spacious room. The breakfast was delicious, even though I was the only one staying there at the time the set up for breakfast was amazing! Catered for my fussy food requirements too, which is always a bonus. I am staying there again soon and I'm really looking forward to feeling at home away from home. 

Beautiful, friendly stay 

A lovely property very central for Sherborne only draw back no parking at property but don't let that put you off as there is a car park directly opposite that is extremely reasonably priced, and you can unload the car right outside the property.  Lovely welcome and extremely helpful owners.  Very clean, lovely comfy bed and great breakfast, what more could you want from a b and b?
