We arrived back at our room after being to watch a show ( arrive back at 11pm) to find heating was broke blowing out freezing cold air the room was completely freezing ... my self , partner and 11 year old son who suffers from asthma was absolutely freezing laying under duvet full dressed with Jumpers on ... contacted reception for them to day wait another half hour as they had reset the heating for it still not to be working.  Re contacted reception the lady came up for her first comment to be walking through the door is " God its cold in here " she looked at the heating system and said its broke ..  she then provided a small heater which didn't do much good room was still so cold we slept in our Jumpers also with the heater it made the air so dry it set my sond asthma off ... very little sleep will not be returning 

Awful night

Holly on reception was very helpful, pleasant and courteous nothing was to much of hassle. Spacious room and very clean and tidy quite a comfortable bed. Overall pretty pleased with the whole experience and would not have any reservations staying here again.

Very happy

Booked online but tried phoning hotel numerous times to confirm their booking error. Had to visit hotel but receptionist lied about room type which we only discovered on arrival and thankfully were able to switch or would not have had any suitable accommodation for the night.

Zero communication

The room was clean and tidy and welcoming. The dinner was very good. When the helpful waiting staff (Tilly)  found out it was my daughter's birthday, she was given a small gift and a card. Which she really enjoyed. The food, especially the main course was very good (starter was so so). The Premier Inn is situated very close to many shops and attractions.The lobby had much useful literature on Sheffield's delights. The Cathedral was well worth a visit. Parking was a bit tricky. Try near Love Street. The recommended parking was too far away for us.

A very good stay at Premier Inn Sheffield City Centre, good room, very good staff and very good value.

Stayed at the hotel for 1 night with my husband and 2 children, we checked in fine and the room was ok but once it came to going to sleep were were woken every 30minutes by people knocking on doors and loud speaking up and down the corridors, then we were woken at 4am by really loud noises from the next room which were constant for half an hour, I phoned reception and a staff member came up to check out the noise. He could hear the noise and said it was the man in the next room who had been staying for weeks and that he did not sleep at night. So as we had hardly any sleep we decided to pack our bags and checkout at 5am with two children and drive home to Leeds just so we could actually get some sleep. I filled in the form for the good nights sleep guarantee and it said they would be in touch within 20 days, so it just shows the bad customer service of the company!

We had plus room , the extra cost was not worth the money.
However  room was very quiet,and comfortable  and the location perfect for trams and city centre sights.
The staff  attentive ,including Diane at breakfast time.

First trip to Sheffield

Great hotel, served by Wendy Courtney and Tilly who wouldn’t have helped us anymore .

Fantastic rooms spacious clean stay here weekly and everyone is always more than helpful       

Highly recommend

Had good stay, service and both evening meal and breakfast was decent. Diane was lovely in the morning, great breakfast host.

Had the burger evening meal with mac and cheese side, was better than expected. Had far worse at big chains like Hilton. Good experience.

Sorry, no staff

We were told on arrival, I’m sorry we don’t have many staff working tonight so things may be a bit difficult for you and your stay.
This is not really why I chose and paid for this hotel. You should’ve put it on the website I paid for as I didn’t make deductions for the payment that you took yet you’ve made deductions from my expectations for your hotel. Not only could we not contact reception there was nobody on reception to contact you charge me to ring from my room on my mobile to get through to somebody within the hotel and then charge me for Wi-Fi whilst in the room I am paying for trying to contact the stuff that you don’t have .
Would’ve had more success, bringing a tent to stay in at least a new what I’d be getting
