We booked the Haven as it’s dog friendly and in the centre of Leyburn. 
We really enjoyed our stay, with a friendly welcome for both humans and dogs. The place was pristine and the rooms a good size. 
The window was double glazed so road noise wasn’t a problem and the bed v comfy. Immaculate linen on the bed too. 
It was lovely to return to the room after a day out with slices of homemade cake in the room. 
A fridge meant fresh milk or you could pop an alcoholic drink in to chill. 
There was a snug with fridge containing soft drinks with an honesty bar, so if you wanted you could have some indoor time out of the room. Our room had a small sofa so watching TV was comfortable ( sometimes lying on a bed isn’t great).
Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and Tracey was chatty so if you wanted you could join in a chat about places to go or stay quiet if you preferred.

Friendly, great hosts and accommodation

Only stayed one night as we were attending the Wensleydale Show.   Fabulous central location.  Although it’s on a roundabout the double glazing keeps out all noise

A nice welcome form the host.  Room was great   The whole building was spotless.

Great breakfast prior to attending the show, where my wife was showing sheep for the first time.

All in all a very comfortable, well priced and value stay.   Would use again 

Incidentally we didn’t win Best in Show but our little lamb was awesome in our eyes !!!

Great one night stay

Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B, recently refurbished, in the centre of Leyburn.  Great to arrive to homemade cake & fresh milk in our room. Breakfast was excellent.  Iain & Tracey had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable.

Great place to stay

Great B&B in the centre of Leyburn. Can’t praise it enough and dogs go for free, have their own bed, bowls and a welcome doggie treat. We stayed for 2 nights in a very comfortable room overlooking the market square. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and we were treated to freshly baked cakes in our room each day.  Thank you for a lovely stay in such a beautiful B&B well worthy of 5 stars in my book nothing was overlooked and we even got a goody bag for our onward journey.

Just Perfect

Had a great stay at Haven House b&b.Iain and Tracey were great hosts..There was some delicious chocolate browny in our room which we enjoyed very much with a cuppa  The rooms are comfy, clean and spacious and the sitting room is lovely. Breakfast was delicious and we received a leaving gift of bottled water and cookies for our journey home. Thank you both for a welcoming stay. Leyburn and area is a lovely place to visit.

Lovely b&b

Myself and my partner came up for a wedding so our stay was short and sweet, but absolutely loved our room. The room was well decorated, comfortable & the view was brilliant. The added little extras, including water & cookies for the journey home was lovely. Breakfast was really good, great selection & top quality. Owner & staff were really nice & couldn’t do enough. We will definitely return when we are back this way. Thank you again!

Absolutely amazing!

We had a lovely relaxing weekend stay. Iain and Tracey are wonderful hosts, very warm and accommodating. Breakfasts very tasty and plentiful. Lovely comfy room. Thank you Iain and Tracey for a wonderful weekend of memories. We hope to be back soon. Dave & Linda

Relaxing weekend

Stayed for just one night but enough to know how friendly and helpful our hosts were. The house was lovely throughout, comfortable rooms with fresh milk and water provided within the fridge in the bedroom. 
Very nicely cooked breakfast with plenty of choice.
The location is very central but still quiet within the house. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely place

Booked into the "Dales Haven" for our Wedding Anniversary. We received a very cheerful greeting from Alix on our arrival and were shown to the "Paddington" room. We loved it.
It overlooks the market square but you are not disturbed by noise at all, even on market day.
The rooms are clean and the bed very comfy. The mini fridge is stocked with water,milk and even a bottle of fizz which was a nice surprise.
Breakfast was really nice and Martin and Alix have lots of advice on things to do and places to stay.
The front room of the B&B is well stocked with books, maps and guidebooks to help you plan your time. We loved it and will be back

Whats not to like

Just got back from this great guest house in Leyburn ,great location ,very good hosts ,very friendly ,great breakfast ,comfortable beds ,of street parking ,loved this place and will be going back ,we can recomment this B&B .
