bed was unclean so decided not to stsy it was late evening and no one on reception so rang a hour later was told would not refund money as it was too late to clean and relet room  booking ,com did not respond to complaint

Stayed here overnight after attending a wedding nearby. The staff were so lovely and accommodating - helped us book in with a local taxi firm for a decent price as others in the area were trying to rip us off! 
Room was spotlessly clean and a breakfast of cereal, toast + teas/coffees was included with the bargain price. 
If you would like the basics for a bargain price this place is perfect! 

Great Stay! 

The best value Hotel I have ever stayed in.  My mate and I needed a stop over on our way to Leeds and got a twin room for under £40.  The room was spotless.  There is an on site bar with cheap drinks and friendly staff.  There is no onsite food but they are more than happy for you to order in and eat in the bar.  They will even provide plates etc.

Beds were comfortable and we slept well.  Breakfast of toast/cereal , juice, tea and coffee is included.  Absolute bonus.

Free good Wi-Fi too 😁

Great Value, spotlessly clean, lovely Staff

Stayed at the Redwings Lodge for one night - very surprised and delighted at the level of accommodation. great room - comfy bed - clean - good wifi  nice staff.
This place is great value for money. there's an Indian restaurant on site (a bit pricey) there is a garage shop on site.

Very nice stay

Nice and clean, friendly staff, breakfast although no “full English” was very good. Bar prices very fair.
Only concern, if it’s hot and you need the windows open traffic noise is high! Windows closed no problem. 

Good value for money

For a budget hotel this a little gem of a find for the money and what you get. We thought you got a lot. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is exceptionally clean. Yes it's worn in places but clearly updates are being made. The rooms are well equipped we thought. Beds are super comfortable. There are  full sized fluffy towels. Shower gel and hand soap included. Tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms with generous amounts of supplies. Shop on site for additional supplies. The breakfast provided consists of a range of cereals, juice, toast, preserves, croissants, tea and coffee. There are also two microwaves available to use plus plates, dishes, cutlery. The breakfast room is also a bar at night. We stayed for 13 days in total and felt like part of a family. It is situated in a pleasant location, out of town, relatively safe and quiet but within reach of Huntingdon and the A1. The car park has CCTV. If you leave a bad review you clearly have not addressed problems with the staff who are very helpful in resolving any issues. We would definitely stay here again.

Felt like part of the family

It’s very true, you get what you pay for.

We paid £40 for the night so weren’t expecting Hilton standards.

The place itself is very basic and quite dated, but it was clean, and welcoming, the rooms were perfect for what we needed, the bed was amazingly comfy, you get proper mugs for tea and coffee and a tv that works.

Breakfast was basis but just what we needed, toast and cereal with tea/coffee/orange juice.

The little game room has a bandit and a pool table, the cues were a bit old but it didn’t stop us having a few games (0.50) a go.

The little bar is manned by the same person as the reception desk.

A pint and glass of wine is £3.50, they also sell crisps chocolate and pop.  If you want to take your own alcohol and food to the room you can.

There is a Tesco extra about 5 miles away.

Lovely little find.

There is an all you can eat Indian restaurant next door that is amazing.

Comfy bed, basic, and cheap

This establishment is pretty awful, I was bullied whilst working here and generally made to just feel awful, whilst being pregnant, I was bullied by my manager and when I handed in video evidence of this, nothing was done, the rooms are disgusting and the hotel has a rat problem :)

Used to be my place of work

we were due to visit the Redwings Lodge at Sawtry in Huntingdon today but unfortunately our grandson had been diagnosed with covid and we had been in contact with him because it was his 18th birthday a few days ago. We did the prudent and sensible thing by having a covid test ourselves and were told that the results  would take 24 hours to come through so we had to isolate. We have just phoned the reception at Redwings nd been told that we CANNOT HAVE A REFUND OR A CREDIT TO REBOOK AT A LATER DATE. Is it any wonder that people dont follow isolation guidelines and go away anyway. IM TRULY DISGUSTED BY THE ATTITUDE OF THIS HOTEL.

Ideal for A1 , cheap and cheerful , pleasant staff , room was fine , comfy and clean , shower was ok just needed updating and tiles replacing, croissant and juice appreciate for grab and go brekkie , suited our needs for the couple of nights
