Booked on lastminute.com to stay at the hotel on 07/08/2020 for a night, family with 2 small children.

On arrival hotel was locked. When we phoned them, said that they are overbooked and nothing can be done. Local woman was laughing and mention that apparently there were more people in the morning trying to check in, that have been turned away (like us). I rang them again, the answer I got was that they can not find our  booking on the system -  they were  able to find it first time when we spoke.

They did not care, were rude and lying clearly without hesitation!!!

Our brake was ruined,  they refused us even with small children. Had to return home at night.  We have been charged!  No refund even after contacting lastminute.com customer service. I have never been treated this badly in my entire life!!!!!!

AVOID or you will be charged and left on the street over night

Booked They took our money Arrived and told no rooms tonight (other people in our position aswell ) The Hotel was awfull They said they couldn't help us with a refund Absolute Disgrace never found a Hotel as bad as this in my life and im 55 years old and what a hole 😂😂😂😂

Treated Like Trash

thank you once again, Swan Vale, for looking after my parents! so sorry to hear Micheal has a serious illness and will have to give up the hotel, prob by now you ve gone! we are always late in posting, but I do hope you get to read this? we hope the new manager keeps the lovely staff, as we will be returning with mum & dad soon!

Small in size Large in atmosphere

Food not bad,room was clean.but room was too small and mattress was hard,also pillows thin and uncomfortable.the day trips were good value,the coach driver Terry very good.a nice holiday but wouldn't go again.

Swanvale lodge hotel

Just have to update my post, having seen the excellent update at this hotel, the place is so clean, new food top score rating! beer & lager on the pumps, great prices, food unbelievable top 5 stars! customer service is number one, can't do enough to ensure your stay at this hotel is one too remembers for all the good reasons!

New Look Hotel is Fab!

Went on coach trip mon-fri with 30 other couples of OAP age all I can say is HILARIOUS best bunch ever.
The hotel was basic but warm and comfortable  If you want 5* book and pay for it.
The guys that run it a laugh a minute nothing too much trouble helpful in every way.
Would I stay here again YES.

went with gee vee travel and found this hotel was very comfortable and mick  dave and the staff very friendly and professional and will be returning as w had a very good time and the food was brilliant

little break

Room was refurbished, comfortable and warm.  Dave and Mick our fabulous hosts, are genuine, funny, caring and looked after us. A laugh a minute! We are coming back for Christmas and New Year 2018.  Food was wonderful. All the staff were great and made us feel so welcome.   The hosts may be new, but they could have been running the Swanvale for years, professional and we feel we have made new friends.
