Absolutely amazing, From the moment we stepped inside, welcomed by Ann, with a nice pot of Coffee and lovely chat with Ann whom is a Font of information, she  gave us lots of Ideas for our Weekend, Ann and Brendan are friendly and attentive, The Compass Rose is Beautiful, each room has there own outside space, Spotlessly Clean, Day 1 Breakfast was outside in the sunshine with an Amazing view, Breakfast was lovely everything you would need, very well cooked by Brendan, Day 2 we decided to have room service, Continental also very good, everything runs like clockwork, a short downhill stroll into the Beautiful Datmouth, Would Definitely Recommend, you wont be disappointed.

Stunning Compass Rose

Gem of a B & B. Wonderful location overlooking the Dart river and set in a valley about a 5 minute walk from the town centre. The B & B is nice and light and has been decorated to a very high standard with all the rooms spacious  and comfortable. Amazing breakfasts with great outdoor breakfast terrace and gardens, the hosts are charming.

Absolutely fabulous B & B in Dartmouth.

This has to be one of the best b&b's we've stayed in. The views are fantastic and our room had a large terrace with a sofa and table, and also a larger table. The room was spotlessly clean and lovely & spacious and the ensuite had a bath and a walk in shower. The breakfast was excellent and the dining room has a balcony which we were lucky to be able to use as the weather was perfect. One morning we had the continental option brought to us on our terrace which was really special. The hosts were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. It's a short walk down to town, a slightly steep walk back up again but there are buses and taxi's if that's too difficult. We can't recommend this place highly enough. The perfect spot for a stay in beautiful Dartmouth.

Just got back from a fabulous weekend in Dartmouth.
Compas Rose is definitely worth staying at.
Beautiful rooms with comfy bed tastefully decorated and wonderful views of the town.
Unbelievable breakfast and very hospitable hosts.
You can’t go wrong.
We will stay here again.

Beautiful B&B in Dartmouth

Just home from a wonderful weekend in Dartmouth staying at Compass Rose. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend. Hotel is convenient for the town, comfy beds, beautiful views and an outstanding breakfast. Hosts were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. If you’re considering booking a stay in Dartmouth then stay here!

Amazing find

Absolutely fantastic stay at The Compass Rose. Our room was perfect and they had thought of everything, we had a wonderful view out over Dartmouth.
The breakfasts in the morning were wonderful and we couldn't have wanted more.
Perfect place to stay for a weekend away! 

Fantastic stay! 

Beautiful guesthouse, gracious hosts. Breakfast is lovely. Rooms all done to a high spec all have an outside space with views over the river. Breakfast is served outside when the weather permits allowing for wonderful views over Dartmouth and the river. Food was excellent and a good selection is available. Would definitely recommend 

Excellent!

This is probably the best place we've ever stayed. The room was wonderful with neutral, tasteful decoration. It also came with two balconies both with excellent river views. We took breakfast on the lounge balcony as the weather was suitable. The breakfast was cooked to order and our preferred time. There was a fabulous selection, cooked to restaurant standard. The hosts are super friendly without being intrusive.
The location whilst having wonderful views is only 10 minutes walk from the river. However getting there is down about 100 steps. Getting back on the bus is much easier and stops at the top on the road.

Fabulous place to stay.

Have just spent four nights at the Compass  Rose, what a fabulous place to stay. Very comfortable large bed,  with doors out to  our own seated area. Fabulous breakfasts taken out on the veranda  with the views of Dartmouth in front of us. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you Ann and Brendan for making our trip to see our son most memorable. 
 

Fabulous stay

Just had a fabulous weekend at Compass Rose. Great location, lovely well equipped room. Everything you needed was provided including lovely toiletries. Fantastic views from the room. Lovely welcoming hosts. Breakfast was superb, great views to look at whilst eating the most delicious food. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends.
