I used to work in the hospitality sector for 10 years and after my self and my partner have stayed here this evening I can safely say this is what I aimed for in my service. The staff members were wonderful and our server for our evening went above and beyond what could have been expected from a meal and b&b. He was attentive to our needs at all times without being overbearing, he also kindly printed out lots of very useful information for us before we even knew we needed it, wonderful service! Very pleased especially seen as though we have travelled in winter and it is well outside of tourist season, did not expect such high standards.

We have booked in for another night on our travel home from our destination as this place is a winner. Location is prime also.

Top draw customer service

Stopped in on a long drive on a rainy day.  We were nearly alone in the restaurant, but the staff were attentive, the food was good and the room was nice and cheerful with a nice fire in the fireplace.  Generous sandwiches and soup. Good spot!

Great lunch stop

Travelling from Oban to Edinburgh we stopped at Benmore Lodge for a brief break. We were welcomed warmly and enjoyed a bowl of delicious Cullen skink soup by a roaring log fire. Everything was immaculately clean. We highly recommend Benmore Lodge and feel the staff deserve many more passing guests!

A brief stop over for a late lunch

Stayed here for the last night of a 5 night scottish motorcycle tour. Wasn't sure what to expect had booked on booking.com. Arrived and checked in and staff member running the bar and counter was straight out to show us to our four lodges. He opened them all up, showed us to park the bikes right up outside and was very friendly and helpful and gave us all the right information we needed.

The lodges were fantastic, very cosy and comfortable and everything worked perfectly. They are wooden and each has a small covered wooden veranda. Really beautiful and quaint.

Its located just off a main road but is so very quiet at night. 

Unpacked and went in bar for a nightcap and again he was fantastic with the service of our drink and even guided us to the lounge area. He couldn't do enough for us. 

We all really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was very good too. 

I will be back with the family. The kids will love it here.

Posted a few pics on facebook and a lot of people commented on how nice it looked and asked where it was.

Absolutely fantastic stay

We stopped off looking for breakfast on the offchance that they were open to non residents, which they are.  This lovely little place was a great find, friendly service, fantastic breakfast and very reasonable price.   Shame we don't live nearby, we'd be regulars!!

Excellent breakfast

Amazing food. Stopped for breakfast and we both really enjoyed it. I asked for a BLT although it wasn’t on the menu and it was no problem for them. The whole place was really clean and had a welcoming feel to it. The lady was really friendly and told us to ask if we wanted more water for our tea. Thanks again.

Cute little place

Just had the most relaxing stay at these lodges, The lodge was spotlessly clean, looks rustic from the outside but modern and fully equipped inside with a fitted shower. The food was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful, even gave us their own WiFi details as the customer one was having work done. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a break away in beautiful Scotland 😍

Weekend break

We have just returned from our second visit this week to eat here.
The food was excellent on both occasions. The Cullen Skink delicious and highly recommended. Macaroni cheese with or without the bacon was a real hit. Food piping hot.Dessert also very tasty, homemade cheesecake and rhubarb crumble.
Service was excellent. A warm welcome from Mark on both occasions, he states he is the dog’s body but the best dog’s body we have come across! Engaging with all in the  restaurant and never stopped., nothing seemed too much trouble. Thank you all .Will hopefully visit again when next in the area.

Excellent food and service

We stopped here for lunch our way through Crainlarich and so glad we did! It sits right by the main road so was easy to find and ample parking and spaces. We had to wait 10 mins as they were a bit busy but we were shown to a lovely little lounge and had a coffee whilst we waited. The man who served us (sorry did catch his name) was very accommodating and quick to get us to a table. The food was by far the best thing about this restaurant. We had a mixture of toasties, Cullen Skink and Macaroni cheese - everyone said their food was brilliant and came roasting hot!
We will definitely stop here again on our next drive through - thanks for a great lunch!

Fantastic little stop for lunch

Overall our experience was good, the restaurant is good, the food excellent and the staff attentive and friendly. The down side are the lodges. While clean and tidy catering on a basic level. They are looking tired and me n need of an update. The room we were in only had about six inches either side of the bed. On one side was a heater which reduced it to about 4 inches. The bed creaked and getting in and out was a nice nightmare. The handrails outside were lose and all the corrugated roofs were rusty. But served its purpose.
