Hosted my husbands 30th birthday party here, food was incredible, staff are all very friendly. The rooms are decorated beautifully, very clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast is also amazing, will defo be back. Sunday roasts are also amazing, all freshly cooked and meats sourced from the local butcher. Would highly recommend to anyone to visit here.

I can’t rave about the Stokesay enough at the moment. This is has been our local pub (at the end of our street) for the past 11 years and visited now and again, but the last couple of months we have been most weeks. It really is the best we have seen it as it is now. It has such a welcoming feel, lovely regulars and the most amazing food. The landlady will go above and beyond, we have just had our family Christmas party and they catered for everything we asked for. The chef is amazing, Sunday roasts (especially the roast potatoes) and chicken burgers are my favourite. Huge portions and very reasonable prices and most importantly for me they use the local butcher for meat. Many thanks to you all we will continue to visit.

Christmas Day lunch was amazing, plenty of food and all cooked to perfection.  We were so happy when they opened for Christmas day we have nothing in the area to go to without having to use a car so it was a no brainer to book and wow I am so glad we did and not overpriced like many others. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and even though they have not been running it for very long they are doing an incredible job and we both look forward to several return visits. A great gem of a pub/restaurant right on our doorstep xx

Christmas dinner at the Stokesay Inn was beautiful! Gorgeous dinner and generous portions! Very much enjoyed by the whole family. Everyone was so pleased. Service was excellent and served with a smile! Thank you! 

Very friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast was amazing filled me up for the day.
My room was very comfortable and clean,there was a shower and this was fab.
There is a super market very near called Tuffins

Fabulous homecooked Sunday lunch.  All delicious with fresh vegetables and cauliflower cheese to die for.  Well worth a visit.  Great service and friendly staff.  Nice atmosphere.  We didn't book and this place should be packed as the food is amazing. 

Lovely stay at the Stokesay. Very friendly welcome from all the staff - couldn’t do enough to help us. Freshly cooked breakfast to set us up for the day - very reasonably priced to. If you are looking for somewhere to stay we would recommend it.

Traditional pub serving great food at very reasonable prices. Great bar staff and the new landlady seemed very pleasant . Well worth a visit and will definitively visit again in the future.Many Thanks.

Food menu was well priced with a lot of choice and the breakfast was excellent and plenty of it and had black pudding- my favourite 

They do have entertainment advertised for weekends- I stayed mid week 

Locals are friendly too

Stayed one night whilst walking Wild Edric's Way incorporating the Shropshire Way.  Very good rates for B&B, comfortable room and very efficient and friendly staff.  Had 
 meal in the evening which was good and plenty of choice on the menu. Lovely breakfast.

A lovely warm welcoming family pub with amazing food

Christmas Perfection

Lovely little gem

We popped in for a light family lunch with our dog and 5yo. The menu is very simple but excellently presented and unbeatable value for money. The atmosphere is lovely - obviously a very popular ‘local’ with regulars but beautifully warm and welcoming to new customers and with really easy, efficient and friendly service. It has really made for a lovely bank holiday Saturday treat - especially being located right next door to the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre and all that has to offer. Thank you especially James and Katie.

Excellent value and lovely welcome

First time stay and was very satisfied.  Staff were welcoming and friendly and offered advice on were to go.  Evening meal was serviced in good time and very enjoyable staff did table services for drinks so we didn't have to get up while eating which was a nice touch.  Room was a good size, nice and clean with very comfy king bed. Breakfast was delicious would definitely stay again

Stop over

We stayed here overnight for a local wedding evening reception after travelling from the Game Fair in Warwickshire.
On arrival we were greeted and shown our room which we found super clean and comfortable. Although they were very busy downstairs in the bar and outdoor area we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble.
Sunday mornings breakfast was delicious and we were given exactly what we asked for. All served with a smile. We enjoyed our stay and will return and wish the new management every success. They deserve it.

Functional room with TV, decent shower Tea & Coffee etc. Friendly staff on arrival. Ideal location for the village amenities such as the main supermarket and Shropshire Way. Would stay again if visiting Craven Arms.
