We booked The Sorrento for a large family gathering and we were delighted we did. This is a super little family-run hotel offering the kind of service sometimes missing from bigger hotel chains. The staff were all friendly and nothing was a problem. Our room was spotlessly clean and a really comfortable bed meant we slept well. A tasty full English breakfast (or the excellent continental offering selected by my wife) in a relaxed dining room with attentive staff made for a great start to the day. The spacious and friendly restaurant specialising in Italian food with a wood burning pizza oven is an excellent option for families or those not wishing to venture out at night. For those that do, the local neighbourhood offers a range of places to eat and drink and the wine bars and local delis are also worth a visit. Being on a bus route makes access in and out of town effortless. This value for money hotel is definitely one we will use for future visits.
