Brilliant place for a short stay, we stayed 1 night and it was lovely the room was very clean and tidy the bed was comfortable there are no draws for clothes but for a short stay it didnt matter. Breakfast was included there was a selection of cereal, toast and cooked breakfast to order which was very nice. Fresh juice and tea and coffee only downside you had to pay extra for a latte but not a big deal. Price was perfect as well. The village itself is beautiful so peaceful and quiet. Will be visiting again !!

Surprise birthday party

We enjoyed our stay at the Village Inn a lot. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would return if we were in the area again.

We were there for a cycle event in Northallerton.  It was a great location - we could cycle to the start.  We were in room 1 - which had everything we needed and we could park very close to the room.  The only thing that could have been better was the bedside light - not bright enough to read by so you had to keep the main light on for reading.  The restaurant food in the evening was fantastic - ate there 2 nights and loved everything we ate.  Breakfast was good - nothing fancy, but did the job.  And all the staff were fantastic.  Really friendly and efficient.

Great place to stay for quick access to Northallerton, but in a great quiet spot

Chalet accommodation was quaint and just enough for what we needed it for. In a truly beautiful location.
Food is absolutely amazing, the choices are eclectic and the parmos were fab!
Breakfast, again was excellent. All meals came piping hot on hot plates, beautifully presented.
Kitchen staff should be proud of themselves, they're a credit to the team. Bar staff too.
Highly recommend.

Excellent food

Nice room, bar and breakfast. A fridge in the room would make it perfect.

Short stay whilst attending a function at the hotel.
Rooms are very basic chalet style around the car park.
A lot of the rooms do not have windows but a single skylight and can be claustrophobic.
Beds are not particularly comfortable and bedding and towels of a poor quality.
Food average fare nothing special.
Okay for a brief stay, can only describe as a budget hotel albeit £90 per night B&B.

We hired the small function room for our daughter’s 2nd birthday, and it was perfect from start to finish.
The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the food (a hot buffet of Sunday roast elements, Thai curry and lasagne) was absolutely spot on.

Perfect spot for an intimate function 

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay in our motel like room.  This was nicely decorated, cosy and quiet, although the bed was small.  Breakfast was hot and fresh.  All the staff were friendly and welcoming.  Overall very good value for money.
