With mixed emotions, we would like to announce that from Wednesday July 7th 2021, Woodlands Guest House will no longer be open for guest accommodation. It is to become a private residence for the first time since 1946. We would like to say a big thank you for the great reviews and support over the years. 
We are now retiring and staying in beautiful Brixham.

Have just had a lovely three night break here  with my partner Ron booked on the spare of the moment trip,a beautiful  place  great view  of the harbour  from our room .so modern, spotless and the breakfast  was so lovely ,Kevin and Mandy could not do enough for you . Would definitely  go back better than some hotels I have stayed in A big thank you to you both for making our stay so enjoyable.Ron and Sue x

Short break

We stayed here for our bank holiday long week end felt very safe and Kevin and Mandy very accommodating nothing seemed to much trouble for them at all very helpfull.excellant location for all your day trips and walk into brixham

Quaint and very welcoming

Stayed here for 2 nights, having stayed here previously I couldn’t recommend this place enough!! Kevin and Mandy are really friendly and a great laugh. The breakfast was brilliant, couldn’t fault it! We felt very safe and secure with how the bed and breakfast managed COVID issues. They were very thorough and had lots of easy but safe measures in place. Great attention to detail from the owners who picked up on the fact it was my birthday and surprised me with a card and present waiting on the breakfast table for me in the morning 😊 thank you both so much! We will defiantly be back

Great stay, friendly and welcoming

So many positives to this lovely guest house.
The couple who run this place are lovely and they can’t do enough for you. 
It’s spotless and the breakfast is great, food choices and quality.
It’s got great views across brixham ( although it is on a slight bank, which could be an issue for anyone with walking issues
Parking on site 
I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting, one of the best places I’ve stayed in a good while.

Wanted to thank you for a lovely stay. You are both very hospitable, friendly and professional. A perfect combination. Nothing was too much trouble and we were impressed by the lengths you had gone to and steps you had taken to ensure everyone’s health and safety at this difficult time. 

We will certainly be seeing you again and hopefully sooner rather than later.

Kevin and Mandy was both very welcoming on arrival. We both enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to our friends and family. We would definitely stay here again, in our next visit to Brixham.

Warm and welcoming

Very well located close to all amenities. Clean, warm and very comfortable rooms. Has a very relaxed vibe. Great views over the harbour despite the weather! Lovely home cooked breakfasts prepared to order. Mandy and Kev were very welcoming hosts and a fountain of local knowledge which they are very happy to share. Lots of good local restaurants all within easy walking distance. We were concerned by the apparent steep climb back up the hill but it's a doddle and not challenging at all even for only a moderately fit mature couple. Free parking at the rear is a real bonus. We would highly recommend. 

Comfortable and welcoming 

could not fault the accomodation which was immaculately clean and very well located with great breakfasts. hosts extremely welcoming and friendly. the room we had was lovely with great views over town and harbour. many bars restaurants and amenities within easy walking distance. A bit of a hill to climb back up to the house, but well worth it for the views.

superb guest house

We stayed for 3 nights with Mandy & Kevin. They are a very friendly couple and helpful in all they do.The car park at Woodlands is a bit awkward to find & up a very steep hill. Rooms are very clean with a large comfortable bed. Tastefully decorated with plenty of storage space. Breakfast is pre-ordered so relaxed, with well cooked food to set you up for the day. Mandy & Kevin are on hand to recommend places to visit, how to get there and what to see. Apart from the climb up the hill after a long day, cannot fault.
