Expected basic but hoped for better cleanliness. The apartment was spacious but desperate for refurbishment. Creaky floors overhead meant we did not sleep well. Owners friendly. We just needed a bed for the night whilst visiting family, but I would not consider returning.

We booked this through booking.com there’s the first red flag on arrival walking up the stairs hand rail was sticky when entering the room the carpet wasn’t clean there were food crumbs on the work surface the cushions look like they had not been cleaned in years not sure if the sheets had been changed but on reflection of everything else we decided not to stay and drove home not sure if it was apartment that would not give refund or booking .combust will not be booking with either again

Not fit for purpose

The place is filthy , got a small box room ,there was a resident next door with a big smelly alsation ,the sheets were not changed before my visit and I think the hoover at the property must be broken . The worst place I've ever stayed . The landlady needs a good wash herself 


I cannot begin to describe how dirty this place is .the smell of stale cigarettes and pets is horrendous . 

Nice apartments close to Bridlington Spa. Location really good for exploring both the north and south beaches. Clean and tidy, stayed for 4 nights with no problems. Might need to drive around a while to find parking, as it only has street parking.  This was not too much of a problem

Great location

Cheap BUT FILTHY AND SMELLY. Served a purpose but we weren't sad to leave! The building is tired, really grubby and dirty, and stinks badly. 

Despite some attempts to renovate, the bathroom was filthy and smelt. The toilet hadn't been cleaned. The hot water was lukewarm. 

Bed was comfy but doubtful on just how clean the sheets were. The patterned carpets disguise just how filthy the carpets are, especially around the edges. There was also rubbish on the floor.

Kitchen was a good size, grubby once you looked closer and smelt. Living room area also smelt and was freezing cold in the morning.

Fine for a budget stay but don't expect any level of cleanliness.

Stayed here sunday to thursday , we were unfortunatley made homeless and chose this place to stay , it felt so homely we really enjoyed our stay here the owners very friendly and welcoming , well worth a booking its a home from home thankyou kay for making us feel at home

Enjoyable

We stayed in the cheapest room. It was clean and warm. The beds were comfortable , bedding was fresh and cheerful.
The proprietor was really helpful and friendly, good to chat to.
The only thing for us was the stairs (the brochure warns about them). We live in a single story building ,so going up and down was a little exhausting! 
We will definitely come back though 😄

Winter Break

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago,  for 4 nights, and had a great time, the apartment was spacious, extremely well equipped, very clean and the hosts were friendly and  helpful. I would certainly recommend the Spa Apartments, I look forward to going again.  A great base  for an  East Coast Break.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

I stay here everytime I visit Bridlington. The lady is always friendly and accommodating makes you feel very welcome. Clean and tidy rooms as well as huge. My favourite Bridlington Stay. Highly recommend

Clean/ huge/ friendly landlady

First stayed in August.  Last minute booking but needed a break.  Was not expecting much for £50 a night, only the basics, but stayed in apartment 8 and was pleasantly surprised.  Like a home from home.  Kitchen had everything you could think of, and the whole apartment was spotless.  Yes the decor in the lounge part was dated but so what?  Loved the accommodation and Bridlington itself and returned in October.  Just had the en-suite room this time but again, spotless.  Amazed to find it had a microwave, cutlery, crockery and glasses - not just kettle and cups!   We only needed a base so it did us just fine.  Friendly owners - do not recognise the people we met from the descriptions other people have given.  Will definitely be back.
