I'm so sorry to have waited till now to write something about this beautiful place. When we left we promised the owner we would have left a good review for this good stay. Thanks very much. The place is wonderful as well as the atmosphere of this fine location. Thanks for the good room handling and the breakfast which was super. I really recommend this place if you are visiting Cornwall. 

Beautiful cottage in the English country and great hospitality 

Just like everyone said, absolutely perfect, really honestly can’t do enough for you, prices for what you get are unbelievable, so peaceful at night you could hear a feather drop, breakfast was perfect, jacuzzi bath in family room after a long drive is a must

Perfection

We stayed here for the weekend, the hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and full of local information. Everywhere for sightseeing is about 40 minutes away from B&B. Vanessa has a heart full of kindness to offer her guests. The breakfast had a good hearty choice of continental and fried. The room we stayed in was hugely spacious with a double bed and sofa bed, dressing room, coffee/tea facilities and jacuzzi bath (which I indulged in fully). There was a lounge/sitting area inside and outside with a comfortable dining area. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast, and we will be returning.

Wow.... This place is beautiful such a good value for money!!! Everything you would need!!! Breakfast is a must!!! So fresh. I'd definitely recommend and 100% stay again wonderful hosts too.... We will definitely be back. Thanks for having us Sam & Martin ❤️

Wonderful place to stay❤️

We decided  to take a last minute short break to Cornwall, choosing Tregatherall Lodge for it's location and facilities. Vanessa the host greeted us warmly on arrival; we had booked the family room which did not disappoint. This was situated on the ground floor and was a large bedroom with comfy bed, sofa, flat screen tv and ample cupboard space. There was a connecting door that led to a further room with walk in wardrobes tea/coffee making facilities and a dressing table with hairdryer and mirror. 
This in turn led onto the ensuite bathroom which included jacuzzi bath and power shower.
The tea/coffe facilities were well stocked and included 2 bottles of water. There were also sweets.
The shared lounge which was on the first floor had large comfy settees, a selection of games and magazines and a further larger tv.
The dining area was well set out and the full english breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. There was also freshly made toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurts and fruit juice available too.
I highly recommend this B&B. Vanessa was a fab host, suggesting places to visit and ideas for evening meal. She was readily available, chatty but not intrusive and  Tregatherall Lodge is well situated for all the attractions in the area. Plus there is ample parking.
Do visit Tintagel, Boscastle and for lovely coves Crackington Haven and Trebarwith Strand which is a surfers paradise with fantastic dramatic scenery....there is a pub there called Port William where you can sit and watch the waves crashing onto the rocks...fabulous!

Lovely Cornish break

A home away from home. Vanessa was very kind and took very good care of us.  We were a party of three couples hiking around the area.
A two-floor house in beautiful picturesque countryside close to Boscastle. 
First floor:  there are two ensuite rooms and one with a separate bathroom.  Second floor: a large and comfortable living room a large kitchen and a dining room.
The largest room has a jacuzzi. A large garden with seating and a barbeque.
Fully equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, hoover, oven, stove, and all utensils. 
A lot of information on sightseeing is provided.
Easy access to trails around the area.
Very recommended.

Excellent Fully equipped  three bedroom cottage in quiet countryside

We had a lovely stay at Tregatherall Lodge! We stayed in the Barn which was really well equipped with a little sitting room and well stocked kitchen. 

Everything was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed.

Vanessa and Trevor were great hosts - the breakfast was delicious and filling every morning and loved having a chat with Vanessa and finding out more about the local area. 

No complaints and we will definitely be back without hesitation if we are ever in the area again.

Alas, we only stayed at Tregatherall Lodge for one night, but we wish we had stayed longer.   Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean and Vanessa was the perfect host.  Our breakfast was delicious and there was a good choice.  A large sitting room in which to relax away from the bedroom was an added bonus.  The house is isolated and out of Boscastle, which might not suit everyone, but if you are looking for peace and tranquility, you must certainly stay here and it is only a five minute drive to the small town. The views over farm land to the cliffs beyond are inspirational and the air is like champagne!  We have no hesitation in recommending this delightful guest house.

Away from it all in comfortable surroundings

Stayed at Tregatherall Lodge for two nights.  This was our second visit and the experience was just as good as the first.  The room was comfortable and warm and the shower was very efficient, which I always think is important.  Breakfast was excellent - full English cooked perfectly, cereal, toast, yogurt, fruit, fruit juice, tea and coffee.  Vanessa is a delightful host and nothing is too much trouble.  I have no hesitation in recommending Tregatherall Lodge and will certainly stay there again whenever I'm in North Cornwall.
