Just back from 3 night stay here with my family. There were 10 of us adults,6 children and a baby. Andrea and Mark were very accommodating. Nothing was too much bother for them. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and breakfast was very good.. We practically took over the lounge! Very good value for money and also a good location. We would definitely go back again. 

Lovely stay here with family!

Had a great 4 night stay was a surprise from family for our honeymoon made very welcome and nottimg was much trouble can't wait to go back again but as a full family and enjoy it all again plus would recommend to family and friends

Made our honeymoon rememberable

Back from a 2 night stay at the Darfield, the owners were such lovely people, nothing was a bother.  Very well priced and the breakfast was superb both mornings.  The rooms are in need of refurbishment- even just fresh paint every where. We stayed in a family room which was a good size for 5 of us, the bathrooms are tiny but its blackpool and they are all the same. The double room my parents had you couldnt swing a cat but saying that if its just to get your head down they are absolutely fine. Im sure we will be back, perfect location if you like to stay central on the front.

Fab staff, but a little run down

The staff were really nice and really frienly a great place the only thing was the window didnt open but a great hotel id stay again, everyone was so friendly and the staff were brilliant so kind, the bar was nice too well run hotel

A really good hotel

This is by far the friendliest Hotel I have stayed in in the last 20 yrs. The breakfast was superb ans hit the spot. We will be staying again if we visit Blackpool . The Darfield is situated close to the North and Central Piers. Thank you for making our stay so special. XXX


Perfect 

Where do we being with this review...

 Was met by a horrible man which was the owner I think very grumpy didn't really know what he was doing to be honest. 

Told us our room was ready was surprised when we first saw the room specially pulling up outside the hotel not looking too good but thought we would still give it a go. 

My husband went and park the car in the paid car park near the hotel £7.50 per night which isnt bad at all.. 

Anyway went out for tea got back to the hotel then met the lady and a young girl the lady looked 2 thirds cut ie Drunk i could smell the alcohol on her breath her and her husband ong was drunk by 8pm and talk about lound and answering the fone ar the hotel like he was was absolutely disgusting Call Back When U Can Speak The Queen's English what the hell is all that about... 

Got to say the owners are not very presentable in how they dress or act and being drunk and drinking in the back sorry but that's a no go for us... 

There little girl wanted to play with our little girl but unfortunately me and my husband noticed that the owners little girl kept scratching her head and now we know why there daughter had head lice we could see them moving in her hair also our daughter left with head lice...

 i have may Blackpool council and other authorities know and i hope it gets delt with asap. I know ppl are going to say anyone can write a review on here but we tried to do it on booking com but when we tried the hotel wasn't there..... 

I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL BEDS ARE UNCOMFORTABLE UR LAID ON MDF ON TOP OF BED BACE MATTRESS ARE DISGUSTING BATHROOM ARE TOO AND ALL OWNERS WANT TO DO IS CHAT WITH LOUD MOUTH PPL FROM NEWCASTLE AND GET DRUNK

Horrible, Dirty, Head Lice

Me and my wife are just back from our stay at the Darfield Hotel in Blackpool and we are already planning our stay with the family in the summer, as soon as we arrived we were greeted by the lovely owners Mark and Andrea who couldn’t be anymore helpful, we had parking, breakfast and there is a friendly bar where some other lovely guests were staying who we chatted to, the hotel is spotless and we had fresh towels and other facilities freshened up every morning, we’ve stayed in a lot of places in Blackpool and this hotel certainly stands out as one of the best and friendliest, if your looking for a warm and welcoming stay in a perfect location close to all the entertainment Blackpool has to offer then this hotel should be top of your list. Great hotel in the heart of Blackpool!

What a lovely family.
Felt so comfortable when we arrived. Nice clean room. The best breakfast ever, . Had a really good time.Family very friendly and nothing to much trouble. What a lovely stay.... Thank you all so much.

Lovely weekend

We had a lovely stay at the Darfield. We had booked a triple room but were upgraded to a family room which was a good size, comfortable and clean. For £90 for 2 nights it was great value.
Owners were lovely and welcoming and their little girl was so sweet at breakfast chatting away to our little boy which he loved.
Our son is asking to go back next year and stay at the Darfield 😊

Great Stay

Again.. best breakfast in Blackpool.. we now class these guys as our family.. anyone looking to book here please ignore petty reviews.. and thank me later!!
