Room 5. slept ok for 2 nights. First breakfast was lovely, 2nd morning was pre cooked and been standing, bacon was hard same as the eggs, sausage very dry! did not enjoy at all!. Bed lovely and clean but the room was very dusty. television had not been dusted behind for weeks. Wi Fi not readily available you have to ask for the password.   felt like they didn't want you to use it!  Needs a lot of updating. would not return.

2 day break away

Lovely accommodation in the heart of Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Our room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. En-suite had a modern shower and toilet with all toiletries and towels provided. Full English breakfast served plus cereals and fruit/ yogurts. The owners were very helpful and accommodating and there was off-road parking at the rear of the property. Highly recommended.

Beautiful stay

Smart clean room with a fantastic bath , very well located for the town and the surrounding area and very secure bicycle storage , a nice oldy worldy feel and a good breakfast to finish  , good nearby parking  for cars as well

A nice place to spend the night

The hosts were very lovely and chatty, made the stay much more pleasant. Can tell they have run this business for a long time as run it very smoothly. However, are quite particular on the way things are done.

Room - Standard double room with very comfortable bed, bathroom overlooked the parking site so had to have the curtains closed whenever we were in there to maintain privacy. 

Location - We picked the location due to it's proximity to Alton Towers and were not disappointed, we were able to get there in plenty of time and had a lovely weekend. 

Amenities- Coffee/tea in the room with small biscuits, frequently refilled. Parking available but closed at 00:00 hosts were surprised at people wanting to be out later than this and made us feel like this was a curfew. Amazing breakfast - full English and continental available, with fresh coffee and orange juice.

Lovely Hosts in a nice neighbourhood.

Lovely breakfasts and spacious room.  Welcoming hosts. We found it surprisingly quiet given it’s in the town centre. Easy parking and cycle storage and convenient location for restaurants, bars and shops.

Relaxed stay

This was the start of our walking holiday with 9 others. Pleasant stay here . with good breakfast. Our room was good with large bathroom. Think this was the best room. Very handy for town centre. Interesting church & walks through the tunnel.

One night stay

Stayed here recently and found the b&b easily enough. The host was really friendly and helpful, and they provide parking round the back of the b&b. The room itself was disappointing. The bathroom was incredibly dated and small, the extractor fan was incredibly loud, and the room itself was small and had no air in it. Having the window open meant you heard a lot of traffic, but the room was incredibly hot. Nothing in addition to the duvet was provided so I had to use the very hot duvet - could have used a sheet instead. The decor was very dated, with wallpaper on the ceilings rucked and looking very damaged. 
The breakfast was absolutely delicious - fantastic full English with excellent quality ingredients and cooked really well. It was definitely the best thing about it. 

Lovely breakfast, excellent host, very average accommodation

We stayed two nights as we wanted to do the Tissington Trail and explore the area around.  Our room at the back of the property had a low door and steps to the bathroom and it was clean and comfortable.  There is secure car parking at the back and a good wifi connection. We enjoyed the tea facility in the room. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts are very friendly and that is what made the stay so special. It is very close to the centre of Ashbourne and a great base to explore the area.

A lovely stay in Ashbourne

This was our first visit and we would have no hesitation in recommending it. It is in an excellent location with secure parking. A warm welcome, clean and comfortable accommodation and a good breakfast mean we would return again if in Ashbourne. 

Very good accommodation 

Excellent location, excellent breakfasts and good parking. Left the car parked all weekend with good walks direct from Ashbourne. We had a spacious bedroom (room 5) at rear of property away from the road. Although the room had a low door entrance and several steps it was very comfortable. We made use of the guests lounge, great for a group to meet before dinner and plan the next days walk. Owners were pleasant and accommodating.
