Having been a big fan of the TV series we had the chance to stay at this amazing place. It is an idyllic setting. We stayed in Edith's room which was lovely.The staff were lovely and really friendly and helpful, Damien was a real star and let us look round the house which is fantastic really tastefully restored. I would love to buy it as its for sale.i really wouldn't change a thing.i really loved the friendly donkeys and ducks. Overall it was a fantastic stay in fact it was.. Perfick.

Weekend away

Lovely place, great couple of nights stay with my partner and two young children. When we returned home I received an email from the farm with which we were shocked and appalled that £100 has been withdrawn from our bank account without our prior knowledge for supposed damage that we definitely were not responsible for. 

The staff member I spoke to said the instruction to charge the £100 was directly from Simon Coulson, the owner of the farm and international entrepreneur who accuses us of smoking in the room (nobody in our family smokes) and urinating on the sofa bed!

We have found the owner arrogant in his correspondence with us and has accused us of lying. Take my advice and go somewhere else for your short break.

Great short break ruined

What a great time to be had at the famous darling buds of may farm. We stayed in the farmhouse, home of Ma and Pa Larkin. 5 bedrooms, 3 with en-suite, the property has been well kept and the surrounds are gorgeous which make for a great base or even just somewhere to relax and switch off. All the family loves it, the youngsters particularly enjoyed feeding the farm animals, Bramble the sheep especially. Thanks for having us!

Perfick!

Brilliant accomodation for tragic’s the tv series.
It is a magnificent restoration of the property and for that alone praise isn’t high enough.
Took tons of photos.
We had a small issue with our room, responded and fixed in a matter of hours, so very impressed with that.
It’s location is probably the only issue as it is down a series of very small country roads, but guess what, it’s a farm so perfectly understandable
So glad we took this opportunity to stay there.

Love this place. I bring my Mum here every year. It’s beautiful and so peaceful. Have only stayed in the Reverend Candy which is just “perfick” for us. Very clean and the perfect place to recharge your batteries! 

I have to keep coming back

I stayed 3 nights at the farm, which has been tastefully restored to a high standard. I wish I had better words to describe it but basically just being there made me smile. I loved it. And what a lovely part of the country.

Lovely nostalgia

Darling Buds Farm is a beautiful place to stay, from the accommodation to the surrounding land. We stayed in the Oast house, which was absolutely lovely and had its own secure, private garden.
There’s only one thing that I found that could be improved upon, and that’s a mirror near a power point, so the female guests can dry their hair. Other than that everything was wonderful and would definitely recommend!!

The house and garden was nicer than the photos showed, which never happens generally. One of the reasons we picked this property was for the hot tub so as it was broken and not being replaced it was was very disappointing.
However we still loved our time here, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was idyllic and my granddaughter especially loved the funny running ducks and sheep that she fed daily. A memorable family weekend thank you 

Perfect spring break

Fantastic stay in Rev Candy Room, so peaceful and idyllic, the staff were so welcoming and helpful. It was warm comfortable and so inviting and the farm animals were amazing. Didn’t want to leave but we will return as soon as we can and a massive THANK YOU 😊👍🏻
