The rooms are really spacious, with the most comfortable beds and pillows, and the Breakfasts are really relaxed, with the chef cooking everything fresh in the communal kitchen.
But what makes the stay is the friendliness, helpfulness and efficiency of Sarah and Juliette. They always have a smile, nothing is too much trouble, and everything runs like clockwork.
We’ll definitely be back!

New Year escape

Beautiful hotel in centre of Grasmere with plenty parking. Rooms were beautiful and super clean with massive beds. Cream tea on arrival and help yourself hot drinks very welcome. Breakfast was also really good. The staff polite and friendly. Loved the whole stay there.

Lovely stay in beautiful Grasmere

Had another couple of nights at Bridge House Hotel  in December to celebrate family birthdays and again had a truly amazing stay thanks to the wonderful Sarah and Rhian who helped to make the birthdays very special. 

The hotel is perfectly located close to all the shops,  eateries and watering holes and also has on site parking which is a big bonus.

Bridge House Hotel is like our 2nd home in the Lake District  and already planning to visit again.

Another amazing stay for family birthdays.

We were very fortunate to find this very comfortable hotel when snow conditions made it impossible to return to Keswick . Juliette greeted us on arrival and allocated a parking space and lovely spacious room overlooking the gardens . We had a meal at the sister hotel in the evening and had a very good nights sleep . Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order . We would love to return . Thankyou to all the staff . 

Last minute booking

Last minute booking due to weather conditions the host was absolutely brilliant accommodated us really well, Afternoon Tea after check in was a nice surprise and beautiful and much appreciated Great rooms followed by a beautiful breakfast next morning. brilliant well done guys we will come back to see you 

Amazing

Fantastic location, lovely food, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, swimming pool was great with a small compact gym, parking was free and dedicated to our room, food was cooked fresh and tasted amazing

Fantastic location

This hotel is right in the heart of Grasmere making it perfect for exploring. We also had the nice surprise of a complimentary cream tea when we arrived. The rooms are large and comfortable and although the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant the bar was open until 10.

Great stay

What a lovely place to stay. Close (drive) to neighbouring villages...Ambleside, Keswick, Windemere....Lovely decor in our main floor suite. Lots of comfortable seating in room. Right across from restaurant, and daily access to as much coffee, tea, juices, along with croissants, scones, as you please. Very nice option after returning to room, after long hikes, or village hopping. Breakfasts were very good, and cooked right there, while you got yourself seated. Noise was not a problem at all. 
We, very much hope to return someday soon. Thank you to all the polite and helpful staff during our stay.

Top Notch Accommodations in Beautiful Grasmere.

Conveniently situated in the town for all shops and restaurants. Staff at the Bridge House excellent. Rooms very high standard and plenty of room. Breakfasts served in a very homely area freshly cooked to order, hot drinks are self service which works well with the cereals and pastries section.
Would not hesitate to return when next Lake's trip comes round.

Weekend walking in Grasmere

From the warm welcome at check in until we left two days later our experience was simply lovely.
The staff are a credit to this hotel- every one of them were so friendly and helpful, they appeared to love their job which created a great atmosphere and a most enjoyable stay.
Our room was on the riverside with a balcony and the constant sound of the river running by was soothing and therapeutic. The bed was the comfiest I’ve slept in. Spotlessly clean linens and a a shiny new bathroom with a bath and powerful shower and complimentary toiletries which were some of the best I’ve tried and have since ordered some for our own home. Noble Isle Rhubarb Rhubarb hand gel was gorgeous. We’re definitely going to ask for this room when we return. (107)
Breakfast was quite limited as probably one of the smallest full English breakfasts we’ve had, but good quality ingredients and freshly cooked in view of the guests. 
The public areas were very welcoming and comfortable with a log burner and nice views over the gardens. We would love to come back in the summer as it must be even more beautiful then, with outside seating available. 
The little seating area over looking the river was an absolute treat. We were able to sit outside even though it was raining as the area was covered and temperature was mild.
We sat there with tea,coffee and scones which we could help ourselves to, along with jam and clotted cream. Available all day !
Absolutely lovely. 
We would highly recommend this gorgeous hotel and offer our thanks to all the staff, including Kim and Juliet for their warmth and friendly service. 
We look forward to returning.
