Side Prenses Resort Hotel & Spa - All Inclusive

Just returned from a very nice stay at the Side Prenses resort and spa. The staff are very friendly if you make the effort with them, the odd word in Turkish goes a long way ie. Please/thank you/hello/how are you even my 10 year old managed it. You would expect them to speak your language if they were visiting your country wouldn’t you? We were one of only 3 English families at this hotel and not once did we feel left out or uncomfortable but yes the food was catered more to the German and Eastern European visitors but even with fussy eaters we could make a meal at all times of day, taste the food and don’t just judge with your eyes as you are in a foreign country after all. You do have to get elbows out sometimes in the queue to stop people pushing in but I have had this in all the hotels I have stayed in. The rooms were clean although had to take the odd toilet roll and shower gel from the cleaners trolly at times but no big issue. Pool area was very clean as was the bar areas and all the staff in these areas as well as the restaurant were very friendly if you made the effort. The Spa was a bit expensive but the hotel sirma next door have sussed this out as offer cheaper rates and both my partner and teenage daughter enjoyed their treatments there. The beach is down a lift and then a 2 minute walk where the hotel also has a bar. We are not beach goers so can’t elaborate further on this. The animation team are great but with limited outdoor space the activities are quite limited compared to other hotels but the whole team will take time to chat and get to know you and won’t push any activities onto you. Plenty of shops outside within a 5 minute walk so you can find anything you need without paying the hotel shop prices which is good. Have been to Turkey 20 times in the last 15 years and wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.
