We looked at quite a number of places in Ankara and this was the cheapest available except for dorm rooms in another hostel. We did stay in one of the upper rooms, so I can't comment on others. The bedding was very clean and allergen free. (One of us has asthma). The room was designed to be lived in and had enough tables, closets, and counterspace as well as a nice balcony. Decor was shabby and needs updating. Especially the rug. Staff was very friendly and helpful. At the price, this was a real bargain and better than the other hotel we stayed in at twice the price. Ankara seemed extremely expensive in general.
