Pai A Ars

We stayed at Pai A Ars for one week in the beginning of February. We had seen it a couple years prior on another visit to Pai, and knew that we wanted to experience something a little different. It was all that we'd hoped it to be. It is a little bit out of town (less than 10 minute ride on a motorbike, and a beautiful ride at that). It's definitely pretty necessary to rent a motorbike if you want to stay out here for any length of time, but you'd want to have one anyway to explore the outskirts of Pai. We loved being out in the country, the starts were bright at night, and we had an amazing view of the valley and hills from our bungalow (we were in the last one of the Sandberry huts). We stayed in a bungalow made out of sandbags, a environmentally friendly building technique. The bungalow was cool during the day, and warm enough at night. Each bungalow is painted and decorated differently, and they each have their own little patio on top. Each patio is covered, and has a couple chairs--a nice place to sit and do yoga. The eating area is beautiful by the river, and the owner always had chill music playing. (You can have breakfast, or not, with your stay.) The owner is GREAT, so kind and welcoming, and his kids are adorable. There is a pool and a lounge area by the pool. Our room was cleaned and refreshed daily during our stay. All in all, this was such a unique place to stay. We loved being a little bit out of town to connect more with the nature of this beautiful area. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Pai A Ars!
