Excellent
388 reviewsWe stayed for 6N in Feb/March with our kids and some friends. All of us had a wonderful time and easily could have stayed longer! The colour of the water is the most beautiful I have seen in Thailand so far. The resort is not new, but the rooms are nice and clean. We had rooms in the back area behind the little lagoon (where you can spot a monitor lizard sometimes), which we found perfect, the oceanview rooms are a bit less private of course. It is a tropic island, so of course you can see animals and insects, sometimes also in your room, but the kids loved for example the geckos we saw in the evening in our bathroom :) lot of moskitos of course after sunset but thats nature! bring repellent. The food is nice, although there are not a lot of vegi/vegan offers especially for breakfast, but the staff is very friendly and made a great effort to accommodate all our extra wishes like tofu satay etc.. We ate there almost every day and the prices are totally fine for a remote island. Special thanks to Khun Patcharee, she really looks well after the guests!! If you want there are other resorts/restaurant on the beach to eat out, but we loved it here the most. The low tides are really cool to search for crabs and other animals and the snorkelling is also very nice, you can see a lot of different fishes. Due to the tides, you do not have boats of day-trip tourists on this end of the beach, you do have that on the other end where the beach is wider also during high tide. one day there were a lot of small jelly fishes, the other day they disappeared completely. you can see some bigger ones when snorkeling but they are easy to avoid if you watch out. Most of the other guests stayed only around 2 nights, we would definitely recommend to stay at least 4 or 5 to really enjoy this paradise. The resort offers snorkeling trips at reasonable prices (kids often foc) and you can also take a taxi boat to the paradise beach at the other side of the island. you can also walk to the other end of the beach and through the jungle (around 1/2 hour) to get there, which we made 2 or 3 times. There is one restaurant and a little beach bar where you can eat and drink something and the beach is very beautiful also. There are a lot of daytrip boats during lunch but they only stay 1-1.5hrs and after that its really quite.
