I arrived here planning to stay two nights and stayed 9... such great people. Made some lifelong friends and Butter (Nuey) was the best host ever. She gives everyone who arrives a detailed overview of Chiang Rai and explains the many sights to see so people can make the most of their time in the city. The loop up to the coffee and tea plantations as well as the Buddha garden is well worth it! I stayed in the downstairs dorm and it was clean, had hot water, and the fan was silent so all in all a fantastic stay. The noodles across the street (ba mee moo daeng especially if you dig on swine) are so good. I want some right now!
