I stayed for 3days/2 nights, during this time I only saw one other guest there. It seemed a bit strange to see more staff than guests. the room I had had a terrible view, about 1 foot away from the window was an air conditioning unit from the neighbouring building, luckily it was never on. Due to the view out the window I never opened the curtains. They also do no have safes at all, neither in the rooms nor at reception. Plus they request that you always leave your key at reception everytime you exit the building which I found weird, you have to give them your keys so they know you arent in your room and they know none of your personal items are locked away - strange. The day I arrived the emergency exit doors were open, meaning literally anyone off the street could walk in without having to go through reception. The room itself was very nice, the bathroom was almost brand new. The buffet breakfast was ok, very limited options, but when theres only ever one person in the dining room then it makes sense not to keep it well stocked.

Eerily quiet hotel

The hotel rooms are very spacious and comfortable with every amenity you need. As well as the usual stuff there is a boiling water tap for instant hot drinks, a filtered drinking water tap and four (yes four) different shower heads. A fridge is also handy.

We paid AU$72 per night for an elegant double room through Agoda and at that price it was good value

Look out for the free condom on arrival and the hard core porn on the tv especially if you have kids. As the tv remote has no english we pushed a couple of random yellow buttons and got more than we bargained for.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is pretty good - buffet with a fair selection of asian and western options although western options are limited. Location is perfect. Just a short walk from Formosa Boulevard Station with access to both red and orange lines on the metro.

There is a free self service laundry as well with powder provided. The dryer did take four hours to dry a normal load of washing but hey it was free!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and I would definitely recommend it.

Everything you want and more

I just came back from Taiwan and stayed here for 4 nights. Everything is decent about this hotel: the room size, the facilities, the service and etc. There's also an OK Mart just walking distance from the hotel. Best of all, it's just 5 mins walk from the MRT station. For MYR 200+ a night, it's really a good deal.

The only few things I thought could be improved are:
1) they could put labels to their food. I've had some difficulty wondering what kind of food did they serve and was wondering if any of the meat was beef, which I don't take.
2) the rain shower head in my room didn't work. The switch as indicated in the manual never existed but I didn't call to ask the receptionist so it was fine.
