12 reviewsWe have chosen this homestay for proximity of the train station and (more than justified) great reviews. Since the beginning the communications with the friendly host was excellent. Language barriers were overcome by Google translate. Replies come in minutes and all our wishes were considered (reservation of taxi; info about the consequences of the moderate earthquake in the area). Unfortunately, at the end we were forced to cancel our reservation due to the very bad weather forecast precluding our visit to the Taroko gorge and Zhiulu cliff trail. Due to the late cancellation we wanted to pay for the accommodation as we were obliged by the terms of reservation. However, the host wrote to us that the payment was not needed. It is not only about the payment, it has been a kind gesture of the host what we appreciate very much. I hope we shall be able to visit next time!
