45 reviewsMy son and I were interrailling and stayed here at the start of our travels for 2 nights. The hotel has changed hands and is now a becozy self check in. The downstairs lounge has comfy sofas, somewhere to eat your own food and a microwave to heat your food in. It's funky, i like it.... there's no bar anymore and no restaurant but it feels relaxed and you can come and go. The rooms were warm at night but there was a fine and it did the trick. On the return leg of the interrail we booked again as we wanted to swim in the lake. There is a fantastic protected building (baden?) 100 years old that has recently been renovated and you can swim from there, showers, changing rooms, diving boards. At the moment it's free but a possible charge next year There's a market on Saturday in the town. The piped music in the hotel gives it a slight "tales of the unexpected" vibe but o really like it and I'd come again. It's weirdly cool.
