Romantik Hotel Landhaus Liebefeld

I stayed here for a business trip over 5 nights. Since the hotel has a restaurant I called the then before booking to know whether they could accommodate for multiple food intolerances which had made my last stay in Zurich quite difficult. The staff was very kind and noted down everything I could eat and I got the food I requested every evening. It was cooked very well. A look at their menu and a glance to the other tables showed me that they put a lot of effort in food. They have two restaurants (one good medium class one and are exclusive one) and a garden terrace where you can dine or enjoy a drink under the trees. They have quite a lot of staff given that they have only five or six rooms. Every interaction with the staff was exceptionally friendly, the room was large and bright with three tall windows. The lighting, bath etc is of high standard. The building is an old country style house with massive stone walls and a lot of woodwork. It has a lot of character. The only little manco was that I arrived very late on Sunday night due to a delayed flight. I had only 2% battery left And outside there was a torrential rain. No one was at the reception and could open the door. I was a bit lucky that i still managed to call the very kind receptionist (phone numbers were marked on the door) who explained to me where they had hidden the key to the hotel and my room. Make sure you don’t arrive too late or still have some battery on your phone. Overall my stay was very enjoyable and this will definitely be my first choice when I return to Zurich in 6 weeks time.
