Great boutique hotel,  large rooms all with A/C , firm beds, very friendly staff. The included continental breakfast is very good and includes tea, juice or coffee, toast and croissants, fruit.
Real nice secluded pool with lots of trees for shade.


Fantastic place

We loved this place not only because it is in the heart of all the nightlife and next to a great beach, but it has a private and cozy feel which was priceless. The hosts was also so very friendly and helped us with recommendations as well as ensuring we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.

Very private and cozy

A beautiful hotel, just across the street form a lovely beach.  Great location, close to everything you would need including restaurants, bars, shopping, groceries, beaches etc.  We loved every minute.  It is super clean, very quiet and the staff is so nice and helpful.  Rooms are spacious and clean and breakfast is included daily.
The only suggestion we had was the safe in the room. Rooms come with a safe, but they charge you $20 US dollars for a lock to use it.  Seemed petty to me; if there is a safe, you should be able to use it without being gouged.

Cozy and Quaint

If you are wanting a charming, quaint hotel, the Ginger Lily is perfect. We had an upstairs room (#5) with a deck overlooking the pool area. It was bright, very clean, high ceiling, roomy.  Continental breakfast included (coffee or tea, toast, jam, fruit, yogurt and juice)  - which was enough for us.  The staff were lovely.  Only a one minute walk to the beach across the street. About 8-10 minutes to town. We stayed two weeks. 

We would highly recommend the Ginger Lily.

We loved Ginger Lily!

My nephew and I stayed at this lovely small hotel for a week. We loved it. We saw what other large resorts look like when we took shuttles to some excursions- they are loud, overrun with people, and hectic. This place is the opposite of all that. It's directly across the street from the beach, very quiet, peaceful, very safe. Easy to get a taxi to anywhere, just ask the front desk, who are very kind and helpful. The breakfast was lovely, hand prepared fruit salad with fresh fruits, toast, yogurt and a big pot of strong coffee or tea- what else could you ask for? One thing we discovered though- it's best to leave your key at the front desk and let them hold it for you when you go out. Not a lot of spare keys about at night. Very helpful night watchman though.

Peaceful and serene

We stayed for a week at the Ginger Lily. Our Room was beautiful and spacious with lots of natural light, a large walk-in shower, a terrace and a small kitchen area with a sink, fridge and coffee maker. Every day Ms Lorena made the room sparkle with fresh linens and a beautiful flower display on the bed that filled the room with a wonderful fragrance. Continental Breakfast was served in a bright open dining area. There is also a Bar to enjoy a local Piton Beer or a Coconut Rum. The Front Desk Staff were all very pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The Hotel is located directly across the street from the Beach where you can rent beach chairs or catch a water taxi to Pigeon Island and is also great for exploring other attractions on the Island. The Ginger Lily was perfect and met all our expectations based on the descriptions on the Hotel website. We hope to visit St Lucia and Rodney Bay again and will definitely stay at The Ginger Lily.

Perfect In Every Way

We stayed here for a week in February. What a brilliant location, literally a 2 minute walk from Reduit Beach & Spinnakers bar & restaurant. Also it is about 10 mins stroll from bars, restaurants & 2 shopping malls.The hotel is very clean & the ladies that work there do a great job. They are very pleasant & cheerful. 

The room we had on the 2nd floor (Hibiscus), was very spacious with a huge bathroom & shower. The bed was very comfortable. There is a safety deposit box for which you have to pay a refundable deposit & beach towels can be collected from reception each day.

The only reason that I would not award 5 stars, is because the breakfast is not the best. If you are OK with the same every day then it is not a concern but with the variety of fresh fruit that is available in St Lucia, I found it disappointing to have the same every day.Even the toast is thin sliced white bread,not the best. I should add that you can pay extra for eggs, bacon & sausage if you wish.  

However, for cleanliness & the excellent location, I would definitely return to Ginger Lily.

A lovely, very clean, small hotel in an excellent location

Great little small hotel (11 rooms) in a top spot just over the road from the beach and very close to a number of bars and restaurants and a short walk to Rodney Bay shops etc. Would certainly recommend Sea Grapes as a restaurant/bar, Razmataz for brilliant Indian food and also the Yacht Club which is a very relaxed and welcoming place to enjoy a drink at sunset. It is also very close to Spinnakers bar which was, to be honest, quite disappointing and overpriced so I would suggest you give that one a miss. The hotel has a relaxed and peaceful vibe. Small but perfectly formed! Our room ( Room 5 on the first floor overlooking the pool) was huge. Very spacious with a high ceiling, large living space, large comfortable bed, huge bathroom,little kitchen area with kettle and fridge and a lovely balcony. The pool area is rather small but perfect for the job and the gardens are very tropical and well maintained. The room was tidied and made up on a daily basis without fail and beach/pool towels were available at reception.There are a few slight negatives - rarely had hot water in the bathroom and it was lukewarm at best; the breakfast is fairly minimal and slightly disappointing; we had to move the hammock on the balcony to free up space and the internet was a bit hit and miss. Very small issues for us but just to let you know. All in all, you couldn't beat Ginger Lilly for value, location or the friendly and welcoming staff. Would happily stay again.

Quiet and peaceful

My husband and I stayed at ginger lily for 3 nights in July 2019 and would highly recommend staying there. The location in Rodney Bay is perfect, right next to the beach and near to all the restaurants and entertainment spots. The hotel is small and charming with a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were helpful and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. I would stay there over and over again. 

Lovely little hotel 

We loved our seven days in this charming boutique hotel.  The location was perfect, allowing us to daily walk across the street to the main entrance of Rodney Bay.  Within minutes were numerous restaurants and we tried a different one every night.

The hotel provides basic amenities at a great price, which was perfect for us, as we are not travellers that spend a lot of time in our hotel.  We were satisfied with the continental breakfast offered.  The one thing we loved and used was the small pool surrounded by a beautiful garden.  It was so pretty, relaxing and peaceful.  Our room was a upper deluxe, which was large, charming and kept immaculately clean.  We were impressed how we couldn’t hear anything once in our room.  The balcony was large and very private.  The staff was lovely.  It was a very comfortable, enjoyable stay and we would definitely return to this hotel.
