I stayed just for 1 night with my 1-year-old baby but got just what I needed for that moment after I left greedy hosts nearby. This family are very adequate people which is very valuable: helpful but not intrusive.
The host provided good advice, organised good whale watching. The hostess treated my baby with rice during the day. And they provided hot water so that I could make my coffee and give drink to the baby.
The breakfast was substantial for the travel to a distant city.
She cooks like for her own family. And they played with my baby.
They offer different services for very reasonable prices.
The room was spacious and clean, with a couch and a desk. Hot water even in the bide tube.
The room was on the ground floor which was convenient to take the stroller just to the door. There was a fridge just near to use.
The location is easy to find at the corner, close to the harbour for whales and 5 minutes to the supermarket.
The wifi is perfect.
We have nice talks as their English is very good.

Friedly helpful family stay

I was staying there for 3 nights in July.
The place is owned by a family, they are really friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was included, they made amazing coconut milk rice served on a banana leaf and roti. 
The rooms are nice and clean with an attached bathroom and balcony/terrace. 
They also offer bike rental and tours.
I asked for whale watching and they gave me a good deal.
The owner even dropped me to the bus stop when I had to leave to Hikkaduwa.
Thank you guys so much, I really enjoyed the stay :)


Nice place, friendly hosts

Don't even think​ to go there !!!!

The hygiene is aweful, they don't wash bedsheets or pillows very awful ( you can smell it .... ). 
If you body starts to hitch, it's normal , it's full or microbes, insect and cockroaches.

They are super hypocrite and will do they best to push you to purchases tours. ( Even after 3 minutes you arrived ).
Very annoying but anyway.

But if it's the only thing....

The owner break in the room during the night to steal from our bag !!!!! 
We screamed very very loud and he left from the windows.
People from the other side of the house heard us but the host did not come to see what happens. Obviously.
I will not give you all details but they were trying to hide fingerprints , hide blood ( bcs he hurted his legs ) when we get back in the room.
Funny part we heard and saw them cleaning all of these...
Obviously the owner had fresh blood on his leg at 3am...

We left during the sunset but we needed to pay for our stay anyway.
After paying there, they cancel our booking.com confirmation, to make us pay on booking.com and to avoid us writing a review there...

Never never never consider going there seriously.
It's for your good.
