Stayed at this hotel for one night while visiting Kurunegala on business. It's located on top of a restaurant/bakery. Only few rooms available. Rooms are comfortable - air conditioning, satellite TV, spacious and good bed. There is also hot water but the room I stayed it was not working. For food, there is the restaurant/bakery on the ground floor. Reasonable priced, big portions.

Recommended for business trips.

Basic hotel - suited for business trip

Located in the centre of the city. Good transit hotel. They have a restaurant in the ground floor. Dine-in and take-away options are available. Good selection of options for breakfast and lunch but only few for dinner

Good transit hotel

This is the perfect crash pad if you're spending time in Kuru. The room boasts a comfortable bed, a desk, a fabulous AC unit, as well as fast, working, free wifi. The only downside was a lack of hot water every time I showered; I inquired and was told the water would be hot, but it never was during my three day stay. If you can deal with that, this is the place for you :) Additionally, there is a nice bakery downstairs which has a fabulous breakfast menu and short eats. A one stop shop for tourists passing through.

Perfect for the price point

went there with my friends for a meal. food gave only the MSG taste. had been drinking water for hours to recover. won't return again.
portion sizes were good but couldn't enjoy coz of the taste. bit expensive as well

Perfect place to eat MSG

I stayed at Bravo City Hotel for one night in May, 2017.  As I was planning to stay in Kurunegala for only one night after visiting Yapahuwa and to move to Colombo by bus on the following day, I was looking for accommodation along Colombo road so that I could catch a bus to Colombo easily and decided to stay at Bravo City Hotel.  The hotel is located within 30 minutes walk distance from the bus terminal in Kurunegala or the Clock Tower and faced Colombo road.  However, there were very few restaurants around the hotel and I had dinner as well as breakfast at the restaurants located on the ground floor.  Although the room I stayed at was clean and equipped with air-con as well as hot shower, the room faced Colombo road and I could not sleep well since a lot of cars and lorries were passing by through the night.  If you have a difficulty in sleeping under such circumstances, I recommend not to stay at this hotel and to find another one not facing Colombo road.

Sleepless night in Kurunegala

We wanted to book the banquet hall for an event. Very unprofessional and rude the way manager behaved when we went to book the banquet hall. Earlier said 350 seats can be provided but then said only 200 chairs available at site and the remaining plastic chair they have to take from somewhere else, which comes without covers. Some of the lights are not working, but they were promising it works. Carpet has large stains which they promised to cover but they never wanted to do that. When I repeatedly inquired on these matters manager said ‘it looks like you are looking for a neat and orderly place, we can’t provide that’. Further they have parking problem too. They tell lots of lies and give promises which they never intended to fulfill. I will never recommend this place to anyone. If you are going to book this place for your big day please think twice.  I don’t want anyone to ruin their once in a life time day for the lies of the people work here.
