This cute place exceeded our expectations (due to low price). The retreat is located somewhat outside the main streets but is a very convenient distance with a tuk drive. It’s a little jungle in the city, away from the noise. We were greeted with a nice pot of tea upon arrival. Rooms are clean and the shower works well, beds are comfortable, the mosquito net is a big plus. There’s no air conditioning which made the night a bit hot and humid. Don’t expect a good WiFi connection. The breakfast was simple but delicious, nice fresh fruits. Would recommend for a short stay.

Exceeded expectations

We can’t believe how amazing this place was, we weren’t expecting an awful lot because of the price but it’s one of the best places we have ever stayed. The rooms are gorgeous, really authentic and minimal but comfortable and stylish. The sunrise yoga was beautiful as was the homemade breakfast. It was incredibly relaxing and the staff were so kind, we regret not staying for longer and hope to return. It’s close enough to walk to Kandy, but you could easily just spend a day or two in the camp chilling.

Totally incredible.

Around my birthday I spent three nights in this beautyfully simple and authentic eco lodge. The location next to the city centre but yet in deep lush forest makes it a unique homebase to enjoy Kandy culture and self care time at the lodge. The 4 hours ayurvedic treatment as well as the early morning yoga and Meditation on the jungle terrace was a blast. It doesnt get any better than a steam sauna in the forest to observe birds... warmest Sri Lankan hospitality by Sunil and Nandara, thank you SO much. Very rich and varies home made breakfast every day.

Magical Place

Wonderful place in the forest, with super clean rooms and amazingly welcoming and caring staff.
The massages were of great quality and the yoga teacher was very attentive to adapt to each classmate. 
The full day program gave us full satisfaction, the day went through very fluently and in one day we recharged like never. 
Last but not least the food was very healthy and tasty, we had the occasion to try very typical and local meals which was a nice addition to the wonderful day we spent there!
I really really recommend, even if you only have one day or half a day available.

One day yoga and Ayurveda massages 

I had a great massage and steam bath here - 7000 LKR for 2 hours. It made me feel great. The masseuse listened properly and was much firmer than other places, which is what I asked for. Great to have a massage amongst the trees . Slept really well that night!

Ayurveda Treatment

This is a very small set of rooms located in the outskirts of Kandy, about a 15 min tuk-tuk ride from the station. My daughter and I spent three wonderful days here. The hospitality and meals are amazing. The Yoga session in the calm environment with Radesh was calming and one of my best memories. Would strongly recommend for someone wanting to have a calm and peaceful vacation.

Amazing gem in serene surroundings

This is the best place I stayed in all my travels.I had the best ayurvedic massage of my life here,attend a wonderful yoga session and meditation.The retreat was conducted by Radesh he is a tai chi master.and his wife samavee demonstrate a lovely srilankan cookery session.It's a family based atmosphere.Nandana Radesh and samavee treated me greatly from their bottom of their heart.I really thank them.I spend 4 days. the retreat program was really enjoyable and meaningful.I hope to do visit again.

Hi on August 7th we visit to kandy enjoyed  kandy annual festival.fortunately we decided to stay in kandy for another 3days.A French couple we met in sigiriya gave a high recommendation on staying at kandy eco lodge nelum nikathana. So we decide to go tbere we were thinking about our planing on our way but it was surprising since they have full day holiday retreat also.amazing yoga session and a never forget ayurvedic treatment the a traditional dinner was demonstrated and prepared by themself it's a family atmosphere they were very help full and kind.we spend all our three days there.and  in our next visit will be definitely stay more longer.the owner Nadana gave all the details in French.it made us feel more comfortable with the set up.

Magnificent experience 

First off, make sure you write down the address of this place and note the phone number for your drives as it's a little out of the way! That being said, it's the perfect place to stay given that Kandy is so smelly and busy (and frankly pretty awful). 

Sunhil was a lovely host. Very calm and helpful. He served us a lovely breakfast on both mornings we stayed. The rooms are basic but have everything you need - comfy beds, mosquito nets, and hot water. We did yoga in the jungley shala which was fab.

Would recommend this place if you're looking for something a bit different in Kandy
