Yoho Summer Villa

We stayed here on 2 separate occasions. We were really happy both times and felt that the accommodation offered really good value for money. Ella is not the cheapest of places to stay in Sri Lanka. But Summer Villa is very reasonably priced. On our first visit we stayed upstairs and when you looked out of your door from the balcony it was lovely to see all of the plants and trees. It almost felt like you were up in a tree house. On our second visit we stayed downstairs, which we actually preferred with our 2 year old son as there is a nice area outside for him to play. We also had a nice sofa area right outside of our door which was a great place to relax at the end of an evening. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. Decoration is bright and cheerful. The bathrooms are a good size and the showers are powerful with both hot and cold water. The owners live on site and are really friendly. They leave you to your own privacy, but are on hand should you need anything. A really peaceful place to stay, just a short walk from the main road with all of its bars, restaurants and shops. We really liked being close enough to walk to where all the action is, but being just far enough away to get a quiet nights sleep. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ella on a low to medium budget.
