This place is located in a very quiet place but near to the beach. A nice garden surrounds well kept rooms with fans, A/Cs and good moskito shields and nets. Rooms are clean, ours had a small kitchen, the bath nearly european standard.
The heart of the guest house is a nice, elderly woman presenting a huge and tasty breakfast. One can get a lot of advice concerning local activities or just a good chat on Sri Lankan culture and society.
Children were welcomed heartedly and a lot of help is offered by the staff.
The only downside was that at our place WiFi was very weak, you had to walk a few steps for a better signal. 
If someone is looking for a first place to stay in Sri Lanka we can fully recommend this place (but also for every other traveller- especially for families).

Familiar, friendly, fair. 

I stayed at Isabella‘s for three nights and was absolutely amazed! The facilities are very clean, generous and modern. There is a beautiful garden with cute fountains and fish. The breakfast is rich and delicious.

The best part though was the lady taking care of us, preparing breakfast and showing us around. She took me to local festivities, showed me around and helped me with great tipps and reviews. She really was the highlight of my stay there and when I return to Sri Lanka, I will definitely come back to see her again!

Amazing Guesthouse

I ve checked in this guest house lately ... its very calm and welcoming specially peter who is in charge of the place . Nice rooms and clean bathrooms . The place is simply awesome for people who need to get out of their routine life . SIMPLY AWESOME
