Touring Spain and Portugal when we came across this site. Receptionist committed my biggest sin talking to someone on her mobile whilst booking us in. It was the middle of June and the shop,bar not open. Driving round the site looking for a pitch everything very close together ie vans, caravans but quite a nice site toilets are clean and with hot water.
This site has the most amazing views BUT there are nose to nose caravans and I never seen anyone using them but all obliterating the gorgeous views, quite a few of these vans are past their best and should be removed and open these views up for all to enjoy. Just out of the site entrance turn right and find a most amazing bay that only locals use or walk along the path the other side of the camp fence and there is another bigger beach but just take in the scenery as you walk along the cliff.
There is a bus service to Portonovo but very irregular. We would come back to this site just for the beach and scenery.

Superb Views

Not very big places everywhere, but we had enough place. Perfect toilettes and showers, nothing to remark negative. Beautifull view over the sea, yes my kind of camping. The restaurant was closed, because we were the last weekend, they were opened.

Nice pleasant camping

A beautifully situated Acsi site close to the small town of Portonovo with shops and lovely local market. We were going to stay 1 night but ended up staying the week. I would think that it is very busy in summer as it is mainly full of statics. Very helpful staff but hardly any English spoken . The restaurant is only open at weekend in low season.

Superb cliff top location next to the fantastic Playa de Montalvo (see utube for independent videos that include shots of the site) - great for body boarding.  Friendly staff committed to keeping the site clean.  The only site we have found in Spain with hot water not on a timer -  showering heaven.  Adequate plots.  Downside is most plots are sloping,no privacy the best plots are reserved for long term caravans and its a long (3km / 2m) walk into town.  However Porto-Novo and Sanxenxo are great places to walk round, and the sites behind Montalvo beach have shops and bars if you don't want to go far. Will definitely go again.  Great contrast and follow on from Santiago.
