I spent three weeks here over Christmas and New Year and really enjoyed it. There were banquet meals on Christmas and New Years eves which were great. The staff never stop and were always friendly and happy to please so I felt well looked after. Decent enough entertainment on an evening on the few times I stopped up, although I was usually tucked up in bed whilst this was on! The rooms and reception area were all meticulously cleaned and the staff on reception were always friendly and eager to please. The only gripes were the odd whiff of smoke whilst I was eating outside and people not coming through the main door as they should and pushing past the outside barrier to try and bag the table they wanted, other than that I was extremely happy with my stay and do plan to return.
