I was here in July, 2017, for a week with my family, and all I can say is...GOOD JOB! The rooms were spacious and clean, staff was friendly, decent prices for spa, massages and whatnot, and the outdoor pool was fab' ! The breakfast buffet was also delicious. Will definitely return this summer again.

I am staying here for business reasons. 
I had a very nice email exchange with a lady named Inga advanced to my stay here. 
The Hotel is situated in Eixample which is in a nice walking range towards the city centre. The room i am referring to is 109 it is clean and big. The only downside is that it is quite dark! A ceiling mounted lamp would help. And the window opens into a small inner court which makes it risky to leave the window open during the night. 
Oh and when parking there make sure you have the biggest driving skills or the smallest possible car or a good cover on your rental car. The personnel is really friendly and the cleaning crew is awesome. we are not looking forward to leave on the 10th. 👍🏽

Stayed here with my partner in July. Fairly close to the central but Barcelona involves lots of walking, room was spaceous and the bathroom/ shower was fantastic. Didn’t eat at the hotel at all so not able to comment on the food however, it looked delicous. The roof top pool was very clean and had some great sunbeds except there are lots of high rise flats blocking any sort of view but sun until evening. We was woken up to a horriable drainage smell on our first night which was discusting, once I complained we was given another room but had to wait until they had another room avaliable (couple of hours) but wasn’t offered any sort of refund or compensation for the inconvenience caused. The spa was fantastic and we could actually relax they also had a great wifi connection (expect was slow in bedroom). On our last night I was unwell and we had to check out at 11am however, a lovely gentlemen allowed me to stay in the room for an extra hour or two before we left for the airport without charge. Would stay again but rate 4 stars due to the bad smell.

Very nice Hotel

Fairly close location, rooftop pool and friendly staff

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff

Firstly the hotel is perfectly fine it is clean and tidy enough
and is in a not bad spot to walk about 
its about a 15 min walk from the gaudi buildings etc
tripadvisor is a place to tell the hotel what you think and for them to sort it
or not........I have styed in this hotel 3 times before so new NOT TO INCLUDE BREAKFAST as it is awful
I thought maybe if enough people tell the hotel its awful then they would improve it
but they might answer below 
"so sorry we will look at it please come back"
but in this case I have checked tourists on here in the last few months and they have moaned the most abt breakfast
now coffee is important and the machine does not work in the breaffast room
to make it hot or nice they used to serve you coffee they made by machine but for the last 2 to 3 years have decided to save money
MISTAKE BIG MISTAKE  don't say you will look into it
DO IT,,,,the coffee machine at breakfast is lousy 
now the room was fine (3rd room tried)
incidently I was in the lobby for maybe 20 mins over a couple of days and heard at least 3 people change their room
mmmmm not good
the hotel overall is a little tired but clean well kept

a review of an hotel i have stayed in before in barcelona

We stayed in this hotel for 8 nights and cannot say enough about the location. 
We would stay here again, but only if the few small problems were addressed.
Pros:
- Location - easy to access, great restaurants all over the place, and walkable to many great spots
- Quiet rooms
- Spacious rooms
- Big, soft towels 
- Nice floors
- For some reason, a lovely bergamot smell when you exit the lift on your floor!

Cons:
- A/C did not work, and the rooms were very hot - we mentioned this several times, as it was affecting our sleep 
- Lame internet - kept dropping every few minutes throughout the stay
- Rooms need an upgrade - our connecting family rooms had a combination of A/C stains on the ceiling (starting to turn pink, hopefully not mold), chips all around the bathroom mirror, rusting/deterioration of the pipes beneath the cool transparent bathroom sinks.


Fantastic Location - Good Hotel, Small Improvements Would Make it Amazing

First hand impression was very good and the service in the reception is decent. English talking staff is always a big plus. We are still on the hotel but considering to find another even if this is pre-paid. Not at all what we were hoping for - Info will come.

However as our room was very nasty even if it's one of the more expensive Deluxe rooms we asked on our day of arrival (friday) to pay for an upgrade to a junior suite. The guy at the desk promised us that it would be available from monday so we should ask on sunday to make sure we could get it from monday to friday at least.

We don't mind paying a premium for a decent bed (this one is rock hard) and we're both now ill after 2 days with sore throats as our aircondition is broken. Furthermore our toilet won't flush which is gross for a deluxe room.

We're on the top floor and 3-4 times a day the whole floor gets an insane weed-smell which highly affects our trip negatively. We can't even stay in our own room at night or in the morning as it just smells too harsh.

Overall a very poor experience and very sad that one desk manager promises that we can buy an upgrade for a room and then we come here on sunday and gets told that it's already booked for someone else.

Will definately not recommend this hotel and I would never ever call this a 3 or 4 star hotel. No/low quality is the overall experience.

Haven't tried the spa/pool area yet as we can't leave the room due to being ill but breakfast is also extremely poor. :)

Not worth the price. Not worthy of 4 stars.

Came for the mobile world congress, the location of the hotel is ok. Not in the center. But it’s nearby the metro. 
The rooms are fine but simple. 
There is nice spa facilities. 
The breakfast is poor. If you want good breakfast it is not the place. 

Nice hotel for business trip

We stayed for 4 nights.Tehere were some issues...The big bed was in fact two small beds put together.They were moving all the time.The sink was not in the bathroom but in the room.You cannot open the room’s window.
