The hostel is located in very nice, central place, close to Raval and Eixample district. Safe street even at night. Close 2 different stops of metro, bus stops, airport bus stop. A lot of authentic bars, restaurants, shops in 2 steps. In 2 minutes on foot a local food market is situated (must visit) with big cheap supermarket. Budget all inclusive restaurant Wok Dao in 5 minutes on foot. The stuff of hostel is very helpful and friendly, helped us with late check out.
- All ensuite rooms in the hostel are parts of one apartment, the walls are thin and if the neighbours are loud it is rather annoying. The furniture is tired and some of it is broken (especially sofas in common hall). Few lamps in the room, so it is dark already in the daytime. Not all electric outlet worked properly.
There is common fridge in the hall, but NO microwave. The balcony is also common, if somebody smoked on the balcony the fume came to our room.
Normal place to stay 2-3 nights, but if you are couple or need to stay longer it might be uncomfortable.

Best location, friendly stuff, but not more than 2-3 days

Very upset, I paid a decent price to stay for 2 nights here, There was no running hot water at all during my stay. I let Agoda know and all I got back was the owners said there was and I was lying. Why on earth would I waste my time. Not Happy

Well organised and flexible with our requests re time etc. Reception is at No.50 and then accompanied to No.56 where our room was not ready as we were early due to the efficient metro service! We left our bags and when we returned in hour all was fresh and clean. Comfortable beds and very efficient quiet fan to keep cool. Shared shower room and toilet/basin/bidet good and clean with dispensers for everything you may need. Coffee and tea and kettle provided. We were not disturbed by neighbouring rooms as all walls were solid unlike many hotels etc! Would use this place again. 
Location amazing... 2 mins from Urgell metro L1 line. 10 mins walk to Placa Espanya for no.46 bus to airport every 15 mins for one of your T10 travel ticket uses (10 trips for €10 on any bus or metro, but not Aerobus) or 2 mins to Aerobus stop €6 to airport. Easy walk to most of Barcelona from here.

Just what we needed....

Location wise is unbeatable. Very closed to subway line L1 and L2. And the best thing the aerobus from and go to airport just a stone away. It is very convenient if you are rushing to the airport and it cost you 5,9 euro one way. Please be noted that the reception of the hotel is number 56 however what you will stay is number 52-54 building. The reception opens at 10 am and close at 18, so be aware of your arrival. We have notified our arrival thru booking.com at 8 am but he might have not received a notification so we waited until 10 am. Send your email directly to the hotel to avoid waiting. The staff is friendly and helpful. When we entered the building hotel was likely an apartment rather than a hotel. The room was big with balcony, clean enough. The bathroom was clean and has good water pressure. The room equipped with dual function aircon that worked properly. Refrigerator and microwave were one of the facilities. Bed was comfortable. Not a good linen at that time but still ok. Price was just ok 157.88 euro for 2 night comparing to neighboorhood hotel. La rambla pediastrian street just 10-15 minute walk. Try to go to their local market Sant Antoni market (near sant antoni subway st L2) it just 400 m from the hotel.
