Danim Backpackers Suncheon

I spend one night at this guesthouse with two friends and it was a really nice experience !
The host man is really nice, he give us a lot of advice for the place to see, the bus... Really helpfull ! 

It's also a place to meet other korean people since the host invite sometimes people that stay at another guesthouse very close so it was really nice to share some time talking with other korean persons.

The place is not really big but it's really a good stay experience to have !

The staff was nice and helpful. It was a nice place to stay, easy to find (they even send you an e-mail with the details), with good internet connection and a bus stop very close by. The breakfast was toast, jam and coffee. The only major downside is that there is only 1 bathroom for each sex, which was not enough for everyone. So don't plan to take a shower in the morning if possible.

My friend and I stayed in the twin room. The room was clean, a little bit small if you are travelling with big luggages ( we only had one big backpack so it was ok).  The room was right above the Paris Baguette boulangerie, which was playing loud music  non stop from early in the morning until very very late at night (after midnight). The music could still be heard somehow with the window closed. The lobby was nice and welcoming.  The owner Brandon was helping guest talking with each other by bringing maekgolli (rice alcohol) and snacks in the evening. This was convivial and unexpected. The owner is staying in the guesthouse at night as well and he is very willing to help you.
Breakfast consist in eggs that you can cook, toasts, jam coffee or tea as well.. 
The place can be crowded, it is located in front of the train station, the tourist information center and next to the bus station but not really closed to the city center where all the good restaurants are located. The neighbourhood looks a little gloomy in the evening.

Nice place to stay !

Nice stay in Suncheon

the location of the hostel is very convenient. it is directly opposite the train station, above Paris Baguette. you should be able to see it across the road. as it is located on the 3rd floor, we had to lug our luggages up. there's a minus. 

i stayed in a female 4-bed dorm. the room is a bit small. once the luggages are put down, there is hardly space to walk anymore. the blanket seemed a little dusty so i didn't use it. there is only one toilet shared among all the females staying there so if you are rushed for time, do wake up earlier.

great location

I stayed here for two nights with one friend. It has a very convenient location across from the station. However, it is on the third floor. The first night, I stayed in a room with four beds. There was a co-ed room, so if you can't take random strangers of the opposite sex bunking with you, this place might not be for you. The power went out six times that night (and five the next) from girls drying their hair or using the A/C. This was in the extreme heat of July. Also, they only have two bathrooms. I didn't get to shower until after 1am the first night. The one staff member I met was very nice, and he bought us makgeolli. But, I wouldn't stay here again based on the power outages alone.
