Was finding it difficult to locate the guest house at late night when we alighted from the airport bus, a young lady on the road helped us by calling the owner of guesthouse using her cell phone. The owner came onto the road to receive us. The owner Woo and his wife spoke english and were very courteous towards us. We had landed after long flight almost at 2300 hrs and they provided us with heating pads for body pain relief and some toast and coffee to quench our hunger. Next morning we realized that the Guesthouse is centrally located within few minutes to Dongmyo and Sinseol-dong station metro station as well a bus stop, from where you can get connected to other major stations and attractions. There is nearby 24 hours shop, ATM machine, bus stop etc. Convenient, safe and silent place inside a street. Door is password locked. simple breakfast of toast, butter, tea/coffee is provided complimentary. The owner also provided us with maps and directions to attractions  Liked out stay. Will recommend others.

Homely stay for familiy

Location, location, location!  This guesthouse is close to so many conveniences for a traveler! 

Our group was me, my husband and our 8-year old and we stayed for 2 weeks.

The airport limo/bus that also loads your luggage stops literally less than five minutes away, making your arrival and departure easy. 

The guesthouse is not hard to find off the main street, and the road to it is quiet and safe to walk even at the latest hours at night.  

There's several bus stops on that main street minutes away, and it's located in between two very close main line subway stations making it extremely convenient to get anywhere in Seoul. 

--The room--
 
The room was much more than we expected!  It was extremely clean, dust-free, bug-free (and this coming from someone who obsessively looks for spiders lol) and very bright. 
 
The beds were surprisingly comfortable, we had one large bed and a small bed for our daughter and everyone slept really well with plenty of room. Because it was March, it was still a bit chilly out so the heated floors made the room warm to come back to after the long days spent walking.

The lock on the door is a keypad lock and we never felt unsafe there. There are security cameras on the outside as well and had no worries with the area there.

There was also a rooftop area where you can sit and have a great view and relax. 

--The area--

There is a convenience store (365 plus) within a hundred yards where you can buy all your junk food, drinks, internet cards, and various little things at any hour of day or night.

Also across the main street, probably a five minute walk away, is a Tomato mart (a grocery store) which is also 24 hours where you can get all manner of fresh veggies, fruits, and fish. 

Any direction you go on the main street from the guesthouse you'll find small clothing shops (sock stores which were our 8 yr old's favorite), restaurants, cafes and little stands selling anything from clothes to street food. 

--Bonus -- 

The guesthouse is probably a 10 minute walk from the daily Dongmyo flea market, that will also lead you to the Seoul folk flea market!

Dongdaemun - 24 hour shopping and street food is only 1-2 subway stops away depending on how much you want to walk,  or just a more entertaining 20 minute stroll away filled with tons of street stands selling everything (shopping, shopping, shopping! lol)

Staying at this guesthouse gave us an awesome experience of the daily culture of Seoul. 

And finally the owners of the guesthouse Woo and Jin. They are some of the nicest people you could ever meet and were so welcoming and helpful for our first time in Korea. First time travelers will be well taken care of here and you will definitely feel like it is your home away from home.

Home Away From Home

I stayed here in dorm room for 2 nights!It is very convenient  to go to subway station Dondemon market and so on!
This accommodation is very clean and good place to talk to other guests and owner couple!　Owners are very friendly and enjoyed talking very much as well as guests.
I love here and would like to come back at next travel to Seoul!Thank you very nmuh to make good memories!

It is very relaxed place!

The hostel's location is perfect - between the two subway stations Dongmyo and Sinseol-dong which is very close to the city center with its touristic landmarks such as the palaces.
We have been there in May 2014 and enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, the two owners were lovely and we appreciated the free breakfast and coffee.
Additionally, there is a nice roof terrace to hang out at. 

I'll definitely go back if I have the chance to visit Seoul again.

Friendly, centrally located little hostel

I stayed there for 6 nights with my three friends in July 2014. The guesthouse was always in a clean state. Not to forget, the hosts never fail to have a smile on their faces and were willing to help us with any of our problems. They were very accomodating and friendly! 

I would definitely recommend this place to people travelling with their friends as the place is just a few minutes away from the bus station and the subway line.
