LOCATION.. location.. location

honestly one the best guesthouse i have ever been to as it feels very much like home. the owner was very generous enough to help us go through our daily activities and showed us which bus we had to take to head to the centre of jeju island. it was a pleasant stay and the breakfast was amazing to the point i had to refill my orange juice. definitely a great place to stay

The hostel is nice and cozy. Its located in a central area. All the cafes and restaurants and shops are around it. The hosts are super nice and helpful. Easy to get taxis around this area. Overall a good experience, as the check-in, was smooth. I shared the room with three other people. All the shared rooms have a private bathroom which is a blessing. Also, it is super safe.

Good and clean hostel

I loved the Location for this hostel. It was in the old town of Jeju but the bus stop (the City Tour bus stops here and also the same bus stop for a bus 316 to/from the airport) is located just 2minutes walk and so is the night food market (which is within the famous Fish Market Dongmun Market). This part of Jeju is pretty quite and you don't really see that many tourist here, in comparative to the new town. But I enjoyed that. Its really easy to find as well and the three storey Diaso is also located opposite, next to Dongmun entrance. The hostel itself is small, there is no elevator and you have to walk up the stairs for each floor. Breakfast which includes bread, jam, porridge/soup, coffee/tea is on the 5th floor. Some people were complaining that milk and butter are not provided but this was not an issue for me. Laundry can be done for free but you need to buy your own washing up liquid. The bed was a little hard. The rooms have 4 bunks and each has its own bathroom. It was relatively clean, though there were only myself and another girl in our room. There was meant to be cat near the reception but the two days I was there, I didn't see one. 

 · I really don't want to say this a con but the staff was not always available. Though when I did speak to them they were very helpful but they were not always in the booth. At one point I waited 20minutes, went out, got coffee and returned after 1 hour and still couldn't find anyone to speak too. They are very kind and helpful, and helped to look up a lot of the info on the internet but I feel like as a hostel staff compared to some other places I have stayed, they lack in knowledge about Jeju or limited in tourist info. Perhaps a few tips such as bus numbers or knowledge about basic jeju attractions will be useful.
