Checked in at 8pm after a long day out only to find a dirty duvet cover, receptionist assisted to change rightaway. Drainage of shower was blocked I was literally standing in a pool of water whilst taking a shower. Location wise it’s 8 minutes walk away from the subway stop but there’s a huge Lotte mart for everyday necessities breakfast was served from 0730 on 2/f buffet choices of Korean and western, served warm not hot.
Not sure would return again… donno what the rave was on Agoda/booking.com

Fair location, housekeeping needs improvement

Great location in the Sangmu area. Close to the subway, which is halfway between the KTX and the Bus Terminal (about 5-7 minutes to each). Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, and a short walk to 5/18 Memorial Park.

Conveniently located to the subway and airport. Lots of amenities nearby.

Was on a business trip and check in to the hotel. Overall stay was pleasant but do not expect too much from the room. If you are on a budget this hotel is great. Else go for other hotel with better comfort.

Affordable stay

The front desk clerks were kind and helpful. However, the facility never matched the hotel level of 3.5.1. The room was too dark. There were 5-8 ceiling lights but only one was working.2. There was no chair in front of the desk. I had to sit on a wooden bed table, instead, to use my computer.3. Only two electricity outlets were in the room. All of them were hiding and I had to try to find them for five minutes. One was behind the bed table (without moving the table, it was impossible to see it) and the other was attached to the backside of the desk below the TV. It was extremely difficult to put a plug in as the desk was very heavy and the space above the outlet was very small (less than 5 cm). Since I could not see the holes inside the outlet, I had to try to plug in so many times as if I were a blind person.4. The hinge of the stool seat was broken and slided in any direction. I was almost dropped from it as it was suddenly moved.5. The bidet was out of order. The water from the bidet only flowed out the nozzle but never spurted.6. The electricity outlet in the washroom did not carry the cover (broken) though it is located near the washbowl.7. The shower spout ejected water nearly horizontally to the wall on the other side. It was impossible to aim my body.

Medium hotel with the worst facility

Good location in the Sangmu district. Convenient to the subway, KTX, and Airport.

The hotel was convenient for me, it is in a good location for access to the subway and numerous bus lines. The 5/18 Memorial park is a short walk away. Overall, it suited my needs well

The hotel style is a bit retro, and I really liked it!

A lovely and very reasonable hotel in Gwangju! The breakfast was a nice bonus as well, you have to pay a little extra but it come with a choice of Korean or American, sometimes Mediterranean, styles. I would definitely recommend!

Checked into first room, gave us wrong room. Had to move to next room, and door didn't work... so we had to move again. Currently in the third room (after hours) and we found that the bed has blood stains, and the robes have a big strange yellow stain. The towel has 4 holes (3 big and 1 small). So it's not clean and probably too late to change/ fix it(especially when we already changed 3 times). The original check in took about 30mins. Overall me and my friends dislike this hotel, especially for the price.
