Wonderful stay and lovely guesthouse.  Free WiFi and the service was fantastic.  Close to the Brooklyn Mall. Great location.The rooms are clean and tidy comfortable with air-conditioning in the rooms. We will be back, thank you for an awesome experience.

Guesthouse

Excellent value in a very prime location. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable and the wireless internet is very welcome. The guest house is close to Brooklyn Mall and  various restaurants (+-0.5 km) which makes it a cinch for grabbing a good meal and doing a bit of shopping without having to venture into the heart of the city.

Crane's Nest

We made the booking for a couple to stay over 02/12, with a couples massage on 03/12 at 10h00. 
When they got there at 02/12 15h30 they were given a room key and was told that they will be called for the massages as they moved them to 02/12 @ 16h00. Nobody came to call them and when they asked when they need to be there, there were answered rudely that the massage time started at 16h00 and they are late. This was only the start as the arrived 30min earlier.

The wife went to the ladies while they were in the room and informed her husband that there is no toilet paper, he went to reception and he was given toilet paper and beverages to take to the room as they forgot to put this in the room. There was Champagne ordered for the room as well and this they never received until today(this is a BIG problem).

The breakfast form was completed after massage and handed in to reception as they were requested, they booked the breakfast for the couple at 09h00. On arrival for breakfast they received food that was cold and not even the order that they placed.

After breakfast the husband went to reception and complained to her about the issues that he has and she apologized for the inconvenience, believe you me he didn’t want to pay the outstanding amount.  They went to pack up and left, as they left there was a number on the page given to them, the number is 083 929 8844. He spoke to the lady and complained about the bad service he received and she requested us to send an email with the complaint.

This is not the service that you expect from a 4 star guest house.

I believe you take pride in your place and therefore would like to be compensated for the inconvenience and bad taste that you left with this couple.

BAD SERVICE RECEIVED

We visited on the 14 till 16 October. On saturday when we tried to shower there was no hot water. We went to find some one who can help/explain the situation to us. Met a lady who was very rude and unhelpful. Eventually we went outside found Joseph (he works there)who told us the geyser had tripped.. we should wait an hour for hot water. Two hours later no hot water😠. Fast foward sunday.. same issue no hot water. Sent emails about this issue no one bothered to even apologise or explain why and what happened.



Lack of hot water

Arrived at midnight after a family birthday. Rooms dirty, bedding dirty and smelt as if it had been slept in. Did not even unpack our bags, climbed into our car and drove an hour and half back home. 
Owners ignored our complaints when I phoned on the Sunday and again on the Monday.
Looks fantastic on their website. Don't be fooled ...... it"s  disgusting.
