The place is very naturally, cozy, breath taking and will recommend it but the morning after very bad. 1st there were no cups or mugs for coffee we had to ask for it, which took 15minutes, the breakfast was unappetizing, omelet was unfilled with no garnishing. We had to wait 30minutes before we could place our breakfast order and wait another 30 only to be disappointed and had to spend extra to get another take out. Open it with or without breakfast than giving your important meal being disappointment, ultimately that crown your stay at any accommodation unless self catering.

Jazz festival

The people are friendly kind and helpfull . There food were also exellent and have a restuarant and the best pizza in the whole worl.You can stay there anytime! Neat clean 
and not far from the schools !

We visited with family and friends for an event and the staff was fantastic, the food amazing and the atmosphere very inviting. We will certainly return. The furniture in the building is something to behold if you enjoy antiques. This is a must visit if you sleep over in Paarl.

Amazing service and decor

Came back to to this quaint little spot 19 years after getting married here
 Same room and same everything! Really cool and  nostalgic. Super clean and neat with aircons and just an all round awesome, quiet and chilled experience. We loved it.....19 years later!

My stay at the Zomer lust Guest was very relaxing although i had to came to do training there i enjoyed the stay, my room was not to be expected but wow the only thing i missed was my wife there in that room- the staff we clicked the first evening and they were very helpful, and we engaged on a good level.

EXCELLENT CLIENT SERVICE

Nicely situated within walking distance of several restaurants and bars. The hotel was clean and the beds comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is looking tired with worn carpets, etc. I believe it used to be famous for it's pizzas but the restaurant seems to be closed. It also has "natural" pools that looked bizarre. They need to rethink how to purpose the grounds and offer something special to guests and the public. With only 14 rooms, it cannot survive as just a hotel. It needs a vibrant restaurant and productive use of its vast grounds. Otherwise, I think it will only be a matter of time before it closes its doors.

Great staff and great service. Rooms are clean. Facility great. Would recommend facility for family and friends. Breakfast was great. Location of guesthouse in good safe area. Will definitely return with my family.

My stay at Zomerlust was quite wonderful and peaceful. A very community driven accommodation which prides itself in being warm and family oriented. The place has an antique, rustic feel of Paarl laced with much history and coziness. I would certainly recommend a stay here if you're looking for a gentle location as you explore the Cape Winelands.

This property reminds of a bygone era and its decor is really awesome. Yes it needs a few changes but for us - a varied group from 6-70 including overseas visitors it was very charming with very friendly staff and great food

Gem in Central Paarl

Nice hotel in a good location, restaurants near by. Clean bedroom with a good sized bed. Staff friendly and helpful, good breakfast. WiFi not always working otherwise a plesent stay. I  was told how to get to Paarl cricket ground, Women's cricket twenty20 world cup and other places of interest.
