We just had our family reunion here and we loved every minute! The arrangement for us was perfect: 5 couples allocated 5 separate luxury en suite units with a shared lounge, dining room & kitchen.
The manner in which the bush has been retained means all the units are completely private - marvelous!
The game drives were spectacular
We can't wait to go back!

'LEGEND' IT IS INDEED!

What a beautiful setting at the foot of the Waterberg Mountains with Hanglip overlooking the lodge. Great service, great cuisine and great game viewing. Interior decor is perfect with a beautiful view of the Hanglip and Waterberg Mountains.

We had the best time at legends, there were so many things to do, from spending time at the spa to amazing early morning safari drives.

The food was impeccable and the overall service from the staff was amazing. 

The scenery, food and service were all 10 out of 10. I will definitely be going back as soon as possible

Best girls weekend away experience!

We had a fantastic experience here for a friend’s bachelorette! The main house with the separate rooms are a great idea for groups and a fun weekend. Fantastic spa experience! Amazing food! Incredible wildlife sightings! So worth it!

Girls weekend away

What an absolutely amazing weekend away. The staff at the resort made our stay delightful, a special thanks to Isaac, a game ranger who went out of his way to ensure we saw lions. A wide spread breakfast was brought to our accommodation. The spa is so beautifully located with a stunning view. I’ll definitely be back for a family holiday and romantic getaways. This resort is highly recommended and definitely one of my favourites.

Ladies weekend away

We are currently staying here and are in the midst of our holiday.  Just wanted to say that Chester and his staff in the restaurant, and the rangers and tour guides are all fantastic.  Happy, helpful and friendly.  Full review to follow in due course!

My husband and I stayed here in June for the Big 5 Marathon.  Most everything was closed down.  The food provided during our stay was in the club house - buffet style - and it was good.  The staff was really nice.  It would have been great if more things were open but understand that things are seasonal - perhaps this can be noticed on the website to frame expectations.  The circuit breaker for our heater went off every day, but maintenance came and reset it for us.  Gluten free options for food would also be an improvement.  The resort was pretty though and we enjoyed our time there.    

Big 5 Marathon

This is a beautiful venue and one of the best golf courses I've seen. The experience was amazing and the staff friendly. The rooms are beautiful and you get the feeling of living in the bush with al the animals around.

We stayed at one of the villas at this resort.Very beautiful , mountain facing epic view from the lounge and kitchen.We had four well decorated rooms with basic amenities in each room.The lounge and rooms has a smart tv.

The kitchen was gorgeous with a dishwasher for some of us who are lazy.The marble counter tops and with some great appliances.This place is a family built unit.Just make sure you have all toys for the kids.The place came with a cleaning   service that was done to perfection.

Things to do around: There is a cute restaurant about 3km from this resort, good food and bottle store  , as there is no resort on sight.There is a wildlife lodge not too far also great food, then there is spa service just next to the resort as well.So that makes the place more palatable.

What I didn't like was the elusive wifi, there was no wifi at all, that affected all rooms. it needs to become standard and available.DSTv package needs an upgrade for the room rate.

A view to remember

What a disappointment!
This place hasn’t been used in over 2 years and it shows. The staff has no idea what’s going on. The food and game drives are fine but the keys don’t work, the heat barely works. Not what we expected unfortunately.
