The location is amazing, I loved the view from the hotel and then peace and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the staff is top tier. The breakfast was okay but the coffee was cold. Would definitely recommend it.  

Beautiful hotel

I arrived a few hours early but was still allowed to check in. The staff were extremely friendly and willing to help wherever they could. The restaurant staff were just as friendly and helpful.
The pool was unfortunately not working at the time of my stay, but the view definitely made up for that. The room was clean and everything was working 100%. The area was quiet and peaceful and sunset and sunrise were incredible. I would definitely recommend the stay and would definitely love to go back.

Amazing stay

We had a lovely time. The hotel was a welcome break from the house of the city. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Nothing to do but rest and eat and that's exactly what we needed.
Food was excellent.
Staff were amazing, helpful and nothing was to much to do. 

Amazing weekend away

What a stunning setting and a very comfortable hotel. We stayed three nights. On the second night there was a corporate event and the staff were concerned we would be disturbed, but we weren't. We had been given the room furthest from the communal areas and hardly heard a thing. We opted for room service on that evening and our food was superb. Our comfort and service were obviously just as important to the staff as the event. The manager even came to chcek with us at breakfast the next morning because she was concerned in case we had been disturbed. In the hospitality industry, it's the people who make a place. This hotel has it right. We loved it. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us so well. Our stay was so restful and the patio was a perfect place to sit with a glass of wine, taking in the spectacular scenery.

Time out of Mind.

The place was amazing very peaceful and the view was spectacular, the staff was so friendly. We loved every moment of it . The food was so delicious. we even thinking of going back again this year because you can do lots of activities in the surrounding areas. 

Anniversary Weekend

I cannot speak highly enough about our stay. Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The view from our patio was spectacular and the tree filled with weaver birds was a pleasure to watch. For dinner we had room service - delicious peri peri chicken and braised oxtail. Both were delicious!  The breakfast buffet was varied with excellent quality foods and you could special order eggs as you liked. All staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Recommend highly.

A Wonderful Stay

Stayed here for a night to attend a wedding down the road. The rooms are quite spacious with great decor and the usual amenities. The size of the hotel means there are not a lot of people around at any given stage which is great. Nice restaurant on site and a small pool if you have kids

Beautiful, well run hotel

Very neat, great staff and beautiful views . Would definitely come back again. We felt welcomed and everything was easy to access. Dinner and breakfast was good also. Overall the trip was short but coming back for a longer stay.

I am happy to have chosen Maropeng, it fulfilled all my desires. The service and property were exceptional. The receptionist lady upon my arrival was well prepared and all my documents for signing were ready and waiting for me.
