We had a wonderful time in this guesthouse. Our Room was very nice and very clean, also Lounge and pool area 
Ninja,  Mats and the Team did everything that we felt home.
My husband had a accident and they helped and supported us a lot. 
Breakfast was excellent.

Perfect Stay

Stylish, classy, comfortable, clean with attention to detail. A place you can relax, unwind and just be.  It was perfect!
Friendly hosts with lots of advice and suggestions for dining and visiting if you wish.
Delicious breakfast including freshly homemade bread, granola and healthy shots. (Granola particularly devine). 
Wine and beers available at any time.
Secure parking.
Breathtaking views and heated pool.
Spacious room with everything you could possibly need. Even room mist!
Others have mentioned the open plan layout of the room and yes, the bathroom has no door, but there is a balcony where you can sit and ponder the amazing view whilst giving your partner some privacy. This doesn’t detract from the overall idyllic experience.

Wonderful stay in a little paradise!

Stayed for 4 nights in room 1. It was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need in a room. Stepped out to the pool, which I might add is heated just in case the temperature drops. Our Swedish hosts were excellent. Made to feel home from home. They refer to their team as The Cambalala Family. They were all super friendly. You would be hard pushed to better the breakfast. Lots of homemade items like cakes, fruit shots. The view could not be bettered for Knysna. Thank you all, we hope we can get back again to visit.

Our favourite stay on the Garden Route thus far. Everything you could possibly want

It is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The guest house is such a great place to enjoy and with the hosts Ninja & Mats, it is almost perfect. We will always recommend Cambalala and looking forward to come back as soon as possible. With an extended reservation just to take a deep breath and return with fully charged batteries.

Great Experience at the Cambalala Guest House

A beautiful guest house set in amazing gardens with terrific views of the lagoon. The hosts are so welcoming and the breakfasts a delight - homemade, very healthy and tasty. The rooms are very spacious and clean, each with their own balcony and there are lots of different places around the property and gardens to sit and relax. 

Wonderful place to stay

It was a fantastic stay. The location and the very tastfull Swedisch design with attention to the smallest details. The large room and bathroom where you immediatly feel at home. Not to mention the very friendly hosts and staff and finally one of the best views we ever had. We can only recommend the place and will certainly go back. A little piece of paradise in Knysna.

Fantastic stay at Gambalala Guest House

This amazing eco-friendly guest house with solar panels & batteries made our stay top notch. 
No notice of loadsheding . Breakfast is such a bliss with homemade bread, fresh shots & Ninja’s fantastic pasteries. We just loved this place & Will shortly come back. The whole team is great!
