El-Arish is well located when doing work at Island View.  Walking into the Establishment reminded me of a beautifully decorated mansion with  a granite stairway large murals. The rooms are large,comfortable and clean., The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were excellent. Normally, I am very critical of my hotel stays, but in this instance I have no negative comments

Pleasant Stay

Heard good things about this 4* establishment. We tucked into a 3 course meal, which arrived in top flavour balance. However, alil cold due only 1 waiter being available. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to snap our desserts, which were deccandent. Would recommend.

Good Food and Ambience

Been here for two weeks and can only complement the management on an enjoyable stay. My assigned room was spacious and clean. Breakfasts are more than adequate. Staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Good value

My nephew took me to dinner there for my 66th birthday, three years ago.
The restaurant is spacious and reminded me of younger days with their decor.
The meals were tasty, fresh and the portions were large. Served by a friendly attentive waiter.
I was under the impression that it would only serve Indian dishes and was pleasantly surprised at the menu which caters for all tastes and cultures.

I didn't expect 5 star, but the overall experience has been 'meh'. 
We arrived and had to search for someone to check in; the plugs in the room are positioned awkwardly which meant the kettle had to stand on the floor; loud music from their entertainment area and tea and coffee don't get replenished every day. 
Beds comfy and great shower.
The staff ever so friendly, just a shame.  I thought they would try harder as it has nothing to offer except a place to sleep and have grub.
