please remove from our Booking list the place is old and dirty smells and very unpleasant especially if one suffers from allergies to dust and the bedding is horrible and old please remove from lists.

HORRIBLE

I arrived at the gate around 20:15, I buzzed the intercom, call the numbers with no response until 21:30 when I called the travelling agency for alternative accommodation. They called with no success in getting anyone to open the for me. I had to be booked at Protea hotel which they managed to get around 23:25 and I drove to Mowbray to check in around 23:50. This was my worse and scary experience, stranded in an area that I was not familiar with

The most traumatic one

1970's built and never updated. Cheap and nasty. Not clean. Derelict in general and unprofessional. Chancers using an old run down house to make a quick buck. Dirty carpets & minimal effort put in. They battled to open the door to my room and my colleague was told he could only see 1 channel on his computer monitor sized TV but if he didn't like the channel she could change it downstairs. I have seen better backpacker hostels. 

Left in a hurry

I guess for Cape Town, the price is average. The website pictures are not exactly indicative of the rooms, and I was hoping for a better view. The owner was friendly and the staff were polite. If you're looking for very little frills in your accommodation, this is a good place to try.

Not exactly budget...

I'm not high maintenance and the view from the patio was nice but overall I wouldn't send someone to this place. 

No breakfast served. Kosher house so had to be mindful of what was brought in, one tv controlled all tv's in the rooms so we're all forced to watch the same thing, one friend was told it was extra to use the remote for the AC in his room. Really!?

Another couple that traveled with me had their room broken into. No accommodation made for their inconvenience. The owner got up and left like nothing happened. Bad business...

Upgrades to building needed. Better security necessary!!! Not on my list to revisit!
