We stayed at Ibis House for just two nights (wished it had been a week), what a breathtaking property, on arrival we were treated by Matthew who informed us that we had been upgraded to a Suite, the quality and the size of the room was absolutely wonderful, every part of this house and garden is  a delight, with so many wonderful views, seating areas and a fantastic pool.
We have travelled to many different places but this wonderful property was by far the most beautiful.
We must also thank everyone for there kindness and help while there, special thanks to the young couple who prepared our breakfasts.
If we had known how wonderful Ibis House was before we arrived we would certainly and stopped longer, and hopefully will return in the not so distance future.

Lovely house in a lovely location! The Hedleys  looked after us very well and all the staff were very helpful

What a fantastic find. We’ve visited Cape Town numerous times and regret not finding this little gem. much sooner. Boutique hotel and not many rooms. Beautiful “everthing”, friendly, helpful staff; large room, beautiful gardens, (cold) pool. They only serve breakfast and lunch picnic baskets for picnicking on the grounds can be ordered. A car is essential but there are a few restaurants for dinner a short drive away. Wlan available.

Only stayed 2 nights (regrettably)

Ibis House more than lived up to our expectations. A Haven of calm with warm hospitality, and a homely feel.We can strongly recommend it to anyone seeking somewhere  to stay while they explore the Cape Town area or are visiting  friends

Excellent stay

Ibis House is such a gorgeous place to stay in Constantia! We had the most wonderful, memorable stay there. Zoe & her team were great. The house itself is extremely grand, beautifully decorated, surrounded by lush greenery. The day would start off with the most sumptuous breakfast, plenty to explore in the area! Thoroughly enjoyed the spa treatment arranged by Zoe, thank you! We have already recommended it to all our friends & family and would love to go back!

Amazing stay!

Ibis house was a real treat hidden away in a quiet corner of Constantia. The house is a blast of colonial tranquility and modern comfort. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. James and the staff were very attentive and accommodating. Wish I had more tine to explore the walks on offer and indulge in the coffee shop more. 

Outstanding!

Wow, what a find.   A paradise in a beautiful neighbourhood.  We stayed 2 nights and did not feel the need to venture out.  Ordered uber eats, enjoyed the garden and the nature reserve behind the house.  Only downside was the poor internet in the bedroom we stayed in - upper level in the corner.  Internet was good downstairs.  Fantastic staff and genuinely warm service!  Will be back.

Amazing ambience

Easily booked on Booking.Com. Welcomed by our gracious host Eugene with a refreshing drink. He then took us on a tour of this quaint boutique hotel's wonderful facilities. We were then shown our cozy Pool House room for my wife and myself and the Stellenbosch suite for our daughter. Had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfasts provided were of a five star quality. Thank you to Eugene and his staff for their friendly and efficient service. Definitely a place to stay.

5 Star Venue 

This was our second visit to the IBIS Guest House.  It is a convenient and secure location but requires you to have a car.  From there you can reach many wonderful vineyards, Cape Town, Camps Bay, Sea Point and Simons Town etc. The rooms are all very luxurious with comfortable beds and large en-suite bathrooms. Coffee and tea facilities and refrigerator are provided. Some of the rooms have large balconies with wonderful views over the garden and beyond.  The gardens and the pool are delightful and well maintained. Staff and hosts are particularly friendly and allow use of their large lounges and dining area. An honesty bar is provided.  Lunch and  dinner have to be sourced outside but a variety of restaurants are within easy reach by car.   We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this Guest House.
