Litovel Pension is a perfect spot to stay in Komarno.  It is just a short walk to the old town of Komarno with its historic buildings including the intriguing Courtyard of Europe, shops, restaurants and ice cream bars.  There is a good Billa grocery store nearby too.  The pension is centered around a beautiful garden courtyard lush with plants and insulated from outside noise.  The rooms are well-appointed and very clean with oh-so-comfortable beds and large bathrooms.  There are a few different types of rooms to choose from.  Kitchenettes are available making it easy to create your own meals in your room if you are so inclined.  The owners of this pension are very friendly, welcoming and helpful and focused on providing the very best stay that they can create.  Our group was travelling by bicycle and this pension has a locked garage for storage of the bikes which we really appreciated.  Extra nice is the little pub attached to the pension which serves a wide variety of absolutely delicious meals and drinks in their outdoor seating area.  We especially loved the array of lemonade flavours.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Litovel Pension and would eagerly return when we, hopefully, travel through this part of Slovakia again.

A beautiful, peaceful, comfortable stay in Komarno, Slovakia

We enjoyed two nights at Litovel Hotel. The service was excellent. When we arrived, the heating system did not work, but we were upgraded to a better and more spacious room, which was heated. It was really good, moreover the breakfast was availabe for an extra charge, which also made our day better.

Fantastic winter stay

Arrived very late by kayak and struggled to find the Litovel but the hotel was super helpful in making arrangements for me and made everything work just fine. The rooms were great, comfortable beds, large and ensuite shower rooms. Breakfast was fine, a choice of items from a menu, and there's a great restaurant next door for dinner, beers and so on. We came for a kayaking trip, the hotel has good connections with the local canoe club so if you're here for a spot of kayak or canoe training, this is the best place to stay. Highly recommended!

Super find in Komarno

We stayed here for two nights going to the wedding in nearby St. Peter's village. We had a double room with extra bed for our 14 year old son. The room was clean, well furnished, with TV and wifi. All facilities were clean and excellent. Staff were very friendly, helpful and tended to all our needs. There is a small cafe serving breakfast and coffee during the day, and we had tasty meal in the Litovel pub next door. There is free parking outside of Litovel at the weekends (payable during week) and across the road, but we didn't need to use this parking. All in all excellent stay. :))

Friendly, clean and friendly

Small, nice pension close to the center. Very friendly hosting, good food in the Pub of this pension and clean, well prepared rooms. Brekafast is tasty and not expensive which is additional plus for me. Price for night is also attractive. I recomend this place for sure.

Good service and price

We stayed here last weekend for two nights. The room was clean, the bed o.k., the bathroom nice and clean. The overall impression was good.
The staff was really nice, the breakfast was o.k.
Only minor thing: in the café I would forbid smoking.

The pub/restaurant in the same building was also very nice. Again a very friendly waiter and very good food.

For a three star pension this was just a good and nice place.
